This deal was B1G1 before DD changed it to B2G1, lol pissed a lot of DVDTalkers off (myself included)

Still, I'd like to get those Gundam Seed collections...hmm.

I've never seen Cowboy Bebop ... should I get the Remix: Complete Collection for $33.74? I'm also looking at Death Note box. It looks bad ass.

Cowboy Bebop is alright I like it and have been waiting for a deal on the Remix set. They are suppose to be a better transfer so they look better than the original set. Now, that I think about it the only thing I see that I want is the Cowboy Bebop set.

Here is a youtube video of the opening.

Well worth it for bebop especially if there is some other stuff you want for the B2G1. One of the greatest anime of all time.

Ok, I'm going for the Bebop set. Any other recommendations? I see the Escaflowne set is $33.74 as well.

I have the same question. I see the Code Geass DVDs are there but they seem to have 3 different versions of the first DVD. Are any of these a box set of the series or just a few episodes per?

YES! I love that series, probably my favorite anime, ever. Highly, highly recommended.

Just to make sure you know, that's the manga not the anime.

Two of the Code Geass are boxsets of the first two voumes (They say "part 1" not "vol 1"), and the more expensive one is a limited edition.

Right you are. I was almost duped. Not that the manga would be bad or anything but I wanted the dvds.

And here ya go Jbaby:

For some odd reason they won't let me order just the Cowboy Bebop set that is apart of the sale.

Some good deals to be had here, I'll bite.

I 2nd the Escaflowne nomination, that's an absolute favorite of mine.

If you enjoy action, political intrigue, and a more mature theme then I whole-heatedly recommend Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. It's easily in my top 5 series of all times, and #1 for the past two years.

I also recommend the Crest of the Stars/Banner of the Stars Trilogy. It can be a bit slow in the beginning, but I think the pacing picks up well in the later series and definitely a fun watch for a less ridiculous sci-fi show.

I bit:

1 $33.74Cowboy Bebop - Remix: Complete Collection (http://www.deepdiscount.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=29479626)
1 $33.74Kaze no Yojimbo - Complete Collection (http://www.deepdiscount.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=5738597)
1 FREEInfinite Ryvius - Collected Series (http://www.deepdiscount.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=11214289)

Total: $67.48.

I wanted Bebop and the other two looked interesting. Anyone have any thoughts on Infinite Ryvius or Kaze no Yojimbo?

You might want to check out Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (The Legend of Galactic Heroes (Galactic Heroes Legend more literal translation)) if you can get it somewhere. It's very good and is also based off a series of novels like COTS/BOTS was. Still waiting on a region 1 release but I doubt it's ever going to happen.

But to stay on topic I agree Crest of the Stars/BOTS are worth picking up, too bad they don't have the COTS complete collection though.

I have Cowboy Bebop already and was wondering if the remix collection is worth it. I've heard mixed things about whether there's any improvement in the video quality. How are the extras?

I'll highly suggest My-Hime and My-Otome

My-Hime is the better of the 2 but My-Otome is definitely worth watching if you like Hime. They are definitely on my list of favorite shows. Heres a review with some info on em.

Thanks for the info. Grabbed 3 of the Code Geass LE part 1 set.
Really only need 2, but I'm sure i can find a use for the 3rd.
$34 bucks a piece too good to pass up.
