Can't unsubscribe from a thread in the thread itself

In a thread, under the "thread tools" dropdown menu, I can no longer unsubscribe from a thread. It always says "subscribe" even if I am already subscribed. I am forced to go into the user control panel and manually search for the thread in my subscription list and delete it. Really fracking annoying.

I know I used to be able to unsubscribe, so I guess this was broken somewhere along the way.

I am using Safari 3.1.2 on OS X.

Other forums that use this same software have no trouble with this. Just for fun, I tried it with IE6 on WinXP and it still doesn't work. I find it hard to believe that no one else here finds this incredibly annoying or has any desire to fix it.

Same for me on WinXP with Firefox 3.0.3.

I'll see if I can get someone to take a look at this.

This is an option that we've had disabled until now as it adds additional load to the servers, but we've enabled it for the time being. As long as it doesn't have a big impact on load we'll keep it switched on.
