Good day, Skies of Arcadia fans.

I've recently learned that Sega is considering making a sequel to the widely popular game released years ago. It's been too long, and the extension to the epic saga can not go down.

Like I said, Sega is only *CONSIDERING.*

So please, join I, and many others, and send adminhelp@SegaAmerica.com an email proclaiming your enthusiasm for a sequel.

If we create a demand, there will be a supply.

Every email helps.

Thank you.

From Sega's most recent financial report:

You Sega fans love disappointment.

Though Sega has been revisiting old properties lately, particularly on Wii ::shrug::

I just want to do something. Even if it ends in disappointment, oh well.

No.

They'd just fuck it up.

No.

This.

The only hope is if they farmed it out to another developer like they are doing with the Sonic RPG (BioWare).

Nope. I'm sick of Japanese companies having Western developers develop sequels to their games. They just dont feel the same, so no thanks. I'm still pissed about Kuju maybe doing the next Jet Set Radio...

Give the project to Nagoshi's team and it'll be fine.

"Widely popular" is a slight overstatement, and it's very hard for 1.5 games to count as an "epic saga".

But that's me being nitpicky.

Indeed, it is you being a bit nit-picky.

"Saga" doesn't mean a whole line of games. It means a series of events stretching over time, and the game has a lot of time and loads of events. Forgive me if our opinions differ, but I'm just trying to explain.

And the game would be more popular than appears. Check the scores of critics and reviewers alike: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/drm/skiesofacradia?q=Skies%20of%20Arcadia

The game is liked.

Just be happy with Valkyria Chronicles, same creator with cameo appearance from Arcadia characters

I'm not asking for a huge commitment, or money, or anything. I'm not even asking you to get off your ass and do something. Just an email.

If you're got a problem with hope, then you have no reason to live.

Whats your problem man? With your attitude you are not getting support here. Anyway keep hoping while I am enjoying great games coming.

This is the deepest, most moving comment I've ever read on CAG.

"Saga" doesn't mean a whole line of games. It means a series of events stretching over time, and the game has a lot of time and loads of events. Forgive me if our opinions differ, but I'm just trying to explain.Ain't gonna get into an argument over this, as the second part is what's more important...

The game is liked. What I was really getting at there was that as big of a critical success the game was, it wasn't that big of a commercial one. The sales numbers for Legends are probably sitting somewhere in that epic saga-of-an-NPD-thread that we had a while back, but I don't really feel like searching through it for the exact amounts. The point here is that SEGA could make twice the money selling a piece of donut-shaped plastic with a few hedgehogs on the front than it could with a new SoA.

Now, if they wanted to give SoA to Bioware, I'd be all over it like a thing on another thing.
