Well we've been free for a while... and we'll try to keep it that way...
But this September we're serving up something special at the iGames Expo which is happening Sept 10th-12th.

We'lll be providing entertainment as the kick-off party for the expo on Friday, and admission is only $5.00 that day only with our flyer. Just print it out if you cant find one in the city. Cheapass price includes all the happenings on the expo showfloor, and entrance to GNG on the lower level at 8pm.

First 10 people wearing a CAG T-Shirt during GNG get a FREE gift from the GNG staff and Sammy Studios.

No, we try to keep it free.

Since GNG is happening at the iGames Expo... and the expo has its own admission prices... our only option is to let everyone in for $5 with our flyer.

I hope thats worth it for you guys... GNG is sure to be great.. but the expo should be great on its own too. It beats paying full price!

No free parking for the Hammerstein.You can find a spot on the street. I usually find a spot on the street but it can take some time. There is plenty of pay parking.

Plus driving that weekend might be annoying given excess security for the touchy aniversary date on the calendar.

GNG will be at the Hammerstein Ballroom (Underground Level) on Friday night only...

We'll then be at the Expo on Sat and Sunday... but it won't really be "GNG" and it will move up to the ballroom floor.

Damn - moving from NYC on the 7th...this looks like a good event. Living in NYC you quickly learn that free events mostly = a bad crowd, so by tacking on a charge that would probably weed most of them out.

Directions
The Hammerstein Ballroom is located on 34th Street Between 8th and 9th Avenues.

Via George Washington Bridge: Take route 4 East into NY (Take upper level). Stay on right hand side of Bridge and exit onto the Henry Hudson parkway. Take the H.H. Pkwy. South to 34th Street. The Hammerstein Ballroom is on 34th Street between 8th and 9th Ave.

Via Lincoln Tunnel: Take NJ Turnpike to Exit 17 (Lincoln Tunnel). Go thru the Tunnel, once in NY, stay to the left. Go to the 2nd traffic light (will be 42nd street) make right on 42nd Street and head east up to 7th Avenue. Make a right on 7th Avenue and take that south to 34th Street. The Hammerstein Ballroom is located on 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.

Via Holland Tunnel: Take NJ Turnpike to Exit 14 (Holland Tunnel). Go thru Tunnel, once in NY stay to left. Follow signs to Henry Hudson Parkway. Take the H.H.Pkwy. north up to 34th Street. The Hammerstein Ballroom is located on 34th street between 8th and 9th Avenues.

Parking
Garages are located across the street and next to the facility.

Public Transportation
Take the A, B, C, D, E, F, 1 or 2 Trains to 34th Street.

i must again thank everyone for coming out to GNG on Friday.... although the overall atmosphere of the "expo" was admittedly quite lacking.

For those of you who know what GNG is all about... i hope you had fun...
although i will say... yes... unfortunately quite a bit of our style had been cramped.

Next event promises to be a bit better...

i also urge everyone to check out a bigger expo this October...

Myself, and some of the folk i work with will be doing some stuff there, and regardless of how that event turns out.... it will at the very least be more than 10 times bigger than iGames.

For everyone that got their hands on Iron Phoenix and Guilty Gear Isuka, I hope you had fun... some of the guys from Sammy who were actually there were monitoring everyone's reactions getting a few last minute ideas to tweak the gameplay... I thought that was very cool... seeing some of you playing Iron Phoenix... and then hearing them say what they should change before it releases... :D
