WTF, first off they cancel my auction because I listed the item was "Like New" in the title and they said it went against some stupid policy they have.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/search-manipulation.html
Second, they did not cancel the auction till after it was over so my account has been charged the "Final Value Fee" and after a few e-mails back and forth with them they say I still must pay because the item was sold(even if I will not collect the $ money for it from the buyer).
I have relisted the auction again with just the "Like New" removed from the title, if anybody wants to view the auction in question.

p.s.
What sucks the most was the controllers sold for $66.00 the first time around and I know they will not go that high again.

Lesson learned, you should have listened to the warning they give you when you put "like new" in the title. Anyways you can't collect the money from the buyer? If you can't, perhaps you could report an item not paid and get your seller fees back that way

They never gave me a warning, if they did I could have removed it before the auction was over. I cant file any kind of claim for fees because the auction has been deleted but it still shows up for some reason on my invoice page.

Actually, they put a warning on the confirmation page for the auction. You probably brushed it off as something stupid.

Exact same thing happened to me although I'm not sure why mine got canceled (didn't say like new)...still miffed...
I actually lost the sale too ($100+ item) because I only received an email saying they canceled it and never knew it sold...

If you have the auction over email from the previous sale try to see if the old buyer is comfortable continuing the sale. When ebay used to do that at least they refunded fees, guess not now.

eBay is turning into eGay faster than I thought... anyway, Craigslist > eGay

That's horrible! I can't believe they still charged you the fees even though they cancelled your auction. You should remove all of your items from eBay and write another complaint, saying that you're never going to use their site again. There's the chance that they might give you some type of refund and an apology. Y'see, this is why I don't sell on eBay...they try to rape the pockets of sellers in every way possible.

Or use a bot to spam them with hundreds of thousands of emails. That's what I did to LSC. ;)
