Hi all, I know I have made threads about my items on GameGavel.com before, but I decided to just make a thread where we can post any items we have listed or found on GameGavel that may be of interest to other Cag's. We can also post about GameGavels contests.
Current Contest - "
Refer your friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances, and random people on the street to GameGavel.com and earn CASH! No Gift Cards, No secrets, No games... cash! Here's how this one will work: Starting today, July 30 we have 384 users on GameGavel.com! As this number grows, I will ad $.25 to a jar for every ONE person that joins the site. On October 1, 2008 I will determine how many new people have joined and figure out how much the prize will be. One out of all of the people registered at GameGavel.com will be pulled out of the digital hat (the bucket as previously seen in GameGavel.com videos may be too small) and I will send them the jar of coins (not actually a jar of coins, maybe a couple of bills instead to save on shipping). Minimum prize is $10, Maximum prize.... it's up to you!"

It's about that time... to announce the winners for the $.99 Selling Bonanza Contest! Here was the breakdown of the winners of this great contest:
1. Most Items Listed: DefaultGen!
2. Item with the Most Bids: DefaultGen!
3. Item with the Highest End Price: Game Shack!
The Contest Ended September 1, 2008! DefaultGen will receive a $75 Gift Certificate to Amazon.com and Game Shack will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to Amazon.com. Congrats to all of the winners!
As usual, GameGavel (http://www.gamegavel/?nrs2=100139) has contests going on continuously! Don't forget about the "Come on in and Register Today!" contest, where you can win cold hard cash simply by joining the free Video Game Auction site. To date, GameGavel (http://www.gamegavel/?nrs2=100139)has given away some great stuff including: 2 Nintendo DS Systems, 5 Brand New Games, a boxed NES system, and $100 in Amazon Gift Cards. We love rewarding our users for trying something other than eBay!
What about Promotion? Well, to keep getting the name GameGavel out, we have hired 2 new promoters to continue pushing the GameGavel name. eBay has just announced some "great" new policies that really hit the pocket books for the video game crowd. You will pay up to 15% in Final Value Fees, and a flat $.15 for every insertion. Money Order payments are going away and will no longer be allowed, and there is a new max shipping price you can charge. You have heard of Big Government imposing its will on citizens, well eBay is imposing its will on its customers! With the addition of promoters and the new eBay policies, GameGavel (http://www.gamegavel/?nrs2=100139) is the clear choice alternative! If you too would like to earn some extra cash and promote GameGavel.com, please email us today!
The site was supposed to get an upgrade this past month, but it hasn't happened yet. The new software has a lot of new features but its not quite ready for public release, so we will continue to beta test over the next week or so. That being said, don't forget about the forums that were introduced! They are a great way to continue to build the community at GameGavel.com! Also, we have changed the "Ending Soon Auctions" email to come out every 10 days vice every 5. This will cut down on the amount of mail you get from us, as well as lower the server load.
Finally, I am proud to reveal the latest additon to the GameGavel community. The GameGavel.com Video Game Radio Station! 24 hours a day Video Game Music for everyone to enjoy! Check it out here:

Game Gavel wants to give you a Playstation 3. That's right! For one lucky Game Gavel user, Christmas is going to come early! Between now and December 1, 2008 GameGavel.com is having another contest. This one will be the last one in 2008, so we had to make it great! How do you enter? Well, since the prize is going to the biggest yet, we decided to make it interesting:
List 50 NEW auctions. - OR -
Sell 25 Items. - OR -
Buy 10 Items. - OR -
Refer 10 People.
Additionally, randomly through out the months of October and November we are going to pick a random person from all of the users. We will post that user selected either here on the home page or on the forums (http://www.gamegavel.com/forums). That lucky person will have 24 hours to contact us to be entered in the contest!
Wait! There's more!
If Game Gavel reaches 1000 users during the contest OR 3500 auctions listed at any one time, the prize will get better! We will add an HDMI cable, a Dual Shock 3 Controller, and the brand new Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe game!
There are multiple ways to enter, so everyone can enter more than once!

Anyone know of some rare NES games to keep an eye out for? I've been watching the auctions regularly and noticed a mass majority of NES games with some others mixed in. A PSP has been listed for 8.00 but has a reserve. Alundra for the PS2 is being sold for $25.00 and someone bid on it. Is this game rare?

Great site which has added it's own radio featuring the themes of some of the better games in history. It's free to list your own games as well. No fees at all, except for frontpaging your deal.
