Ok, so this morning, I was pissed off because in the last month I have had 2 negative feedback. 1 by mistake, and the buyer didn't realize it until the next day and then posted it was a mistake. Ebay won't revoke it because they didn't immediatly post the same negative for the other seller. Load of crap. Oh well.
The 2nd was a person who didn't even pay, but since I didn't give them a mutual agreement, tossed out a lie negative feedback.
So I was a bit upset this morning because that had brought me down to 98.3% positive when including the neutrals.
So about 10 minutes ago I look and my percentage is now 99.6% over 12 months (it was 98.3% this morning with neutrals included).
When I looked at the details I have 5357 pos./20 neg. over 12 months and that is the percentage result. For some reason as of this afternoon they aren't counting the neutral in the score.
Is this some change I missed?
Yes.
Neutrals will no longer count as part of the Feedback percentage.
Since we introduced changes to the Feedback system in May, 2008, buyers have significantly decreased the amount of neutral Feedback they are leaving for sellers. Now less than 0.5% of all Feedback left is neutral, and this percentage continues to decline. Since we have removed the ability for sellers to leave negative Feedback, we are confident that buyers are leaving neutrals to represent a neutral experience and not to avoid retaliatory negative Feedback.
All customer Feedback percentages will be recalculated retroactively by late August.

Did you report the one non paying buyer with a unpaid buyer strike?? If you did then they cna't leave a negative, and ebay removes them if they did.

They responded to it. That's what pisses me off about it the most. They only remove it if they don't respond or 1 other exception about integrity (why this didn't qualify I have no idea). They basically stated in the dispute response that they only bid for combined shipping. They got outbid on the other one, and won this item. So basically they admitted bidding on it, winning it and now they refuse to pay because it was only for combined shipping (damn that bidder user agreement, right ebay?). Somehow this is alright with ebay. Yes they got an unpaid item strike though. Im still stuck with a negative feedback somehow comparing me to Osama Bin Laden and telling everyone I cussed the buyer out in an email, which never happened.
