The Entertainment Software Association has hired former Recording Industry Association of America Senior Vice President, Litigation and Legal Affairs Kenneth Doroshow as the firm's General Counsel.
Doroshow, who also served as senior counsel to the U.S. Department of Justice, will assume the role next month.
Gamers who have been following the RIAA's quest to sue every filesharer they can find into oblivion will no doubt bristle at Doroshow's appointment, though the ESA has yet to reveal what role Doroshow will play in their day to day affairs.
We've got our fingers crossed against the "mass litigation" option.

How does anyone in the videogame industry think this is a good idea?

With so many companies leaving the ESA maybe they need to start suing game pirates to stay in business. ;)

I wonder if this guy realizes how many people hate him. I also wonder if he receives death threats. I mean seriously I wouldn't be surprised.
Kaiju! Hey are you on PSN yet? I'd like to add you.
