Hey guys!

I purchased a 60GB Pro model from Walmart the other day with a 2 year service plan.

I knew of the rumor (and now confirmation) that the current 360 models will be having a price drop on September 7.

I asked the people at the customer service desk if Walmart has a price guarantee policy. They had no idea what I was talking about and even after explaining they still didn't get it.

I wanted to know if I buy something that day and the price of that product should drop within a certain amount of days, can I come back and have them pay the difference. For some reason they didn't get this and one lady in the back spoke up and told me they do do that. She had to tell the rest of the crew what I was talking about but I walked out with my answer.

My plan is to go back to the store with my receipt and have them pay me the difference (I would guess $50), but my worry is when I go to the counter they'll have no idea what I'm talking about.

I searched on Walmarts site for any information on a price guarantee, but other than that one lady saying something, I can't find anything.

Do any of you guys know for sure if Walmart will do this, or am I going to be screwed over?

I don't know anything about Walmart's price guarantee policy, but I am wondering -

How is that 60gb 360? Are the fans quiet/loud? How about the disc drive?

If I were you, if you can't find anything about a price guarantee, return it to wal mart and buy it from a place that does offer it.

Price guarantee is only 14 days. Sorry dude.
