I want to clear my memory card, but the saves on it are like a scrapbook of all the games I've played for the last 5 years and I don't want to lose them.

What's the simplest way to store saved games on my computer? I was hoping for a simple USB adapter that would allow me to read PS2 memory cards (and preferably PS one as well)

I've seen some stuff online ranging from expensive, to weird, to complicated, to who the heck knows, but I'm hoping someone here can make a personal recommendation from experience.

just get a codebreker, and you can copy your game save to a usb stick. then you can copy it from usb stick to a pc

I've heard of it, but don't know much from experience. I watched a demo on Youtube and it seems pretty easy, but let me summarize and you tell me if I have it wrong:

I use the codebreaker disk to load their functions and utilities (similar to swap magic disks). I use their utility, which recognizes a wide variety of standard PC USB flash drives in the PS2 USB slot, to transfer files to and from the USB stick. I can then put the files on my computer somewhere for safe-keeping or share them online or download someone elses and return those to the memory card. This method requires a PS2 however.

Is that correct?
