Steelbooks are made of metal. No idea if they are actually steel. The extras and everything are the same, only the packaging is different.

This is a presale or preorder. The way it work. We can't order specific item outside of US, let say Canada for instance. Their site won't ship to US. That way, we need hooker who live in Canada. The hooker will order 1 entire order per block to me. Once I receive the package then I'll redistribute through the State & International. You better pre-order now or there will be no more Steelbook.

You agreed to sell them for a certain amount, based on them being $35 plus taxes and shipping. That's how much each person paid. Then, your costs went down $5 per copy, after they paid you the prior amount, which was based on them being $35.

No matter how you slice it, it sounds like you owe $5 back to anyone who asks for it.

You might have gotten lucky. Be glad that you got it. You probably only got it because of all of these comments and concerns that have arisen. BTW did your package have "Fragile" Stickers on them and was there any sign of "Bubble Wrap"? ;)

Hmmm, I don't know if we were pegging him as a scammer. He's certainly dishonest, though, and a bit shady. In another thread, someone said that his eBay account was shut down, because he backed out of a bunch of auctions where Wii Fits that he got a hold of didn't sell for what he wanted. And here, it's obvious that he was inflating the cost of the items.

This has been my only transaction with him, but it's been a good one.

i'm overall pleased with the operation... i was offered the $5 refund and received it shortly after PMing pinoy for it... shipping took a little longer than expected but i appreciate the care taken in the shipping, tho some things may not have been entirely necessary (like the fragile sticker)... it was packed very well and arrived in pristine condition.... thanks!!

I recieved my Ironman today. Like mentioned before it was packed incredibly well and I appreciated the extra caution to make sure it would be damaged in transit.

I've never done one of these group buys before, by I feel iNCREDiPiNOY took good care of me.

As for the refund, I told him to keep my extra $5. I agreed to an amount went I signed up, so I'm fine with what I paid. I was actually surprised at first to think he wasn't making a little.

Time is money, and organizing and handling the re-distribution of so many items is not an easy task.

So far it seems like all the people that have dealt with him are pleased. Everyone else is blowing this out of proportion.

Just my opinion.

To play devil's advocate, it's REALLY hard to get these things if you don't live in the region. You're paying for a premium product and it's absurd to think that a person getting the item for you would not charge a little extra.

Should he have notified people about the $5 decrease? Yes. Would I mind paying an extra $5? Probably not, seeing as they're going for more than $50 on ebay.

Received my Iron Man steelbook promptly in a sturdy box with fragile sticker and lots of bubble wrap.

I did receive a refund of $5.46 promptly after I requested it.

I elected to let him keep all of the Indy 4 money since I feel he is providing a service for a hard to get item.

It probably would have ended up costing me more on eBay anyway....

I received my copy late last week and was also offered the $5.00 refund so I took it. Shipping did seem to take awhile but I am guessing that is part of the whole distribution thing. The item was packed very well and marked fragile with bubble wrapping and solid cardboard shipping box. I have had no problems with Incredipinoy and would not hesitate to do business with him again fwiw.

Admittedly, this is my first time doing business with him but it was just a smooth transaction and good communication. Not sure what happened on Ebay with him or all that, but he is reliable in my book based on this transaction.

As to mark-up ? I am not sure what he is making on these but its only fair for him to make a little bit with all the hard work he's put in..

Well #1 is something to consider I suppose.. And as to #2, I do agree with you and as a fellow CAG he should make full disclosure and if he is trying to make $2 per SteelBook or whatever, he should just say so. That said, If people want the rare item, they will pay. If not, they will purchase elsewhere of course...

He did offer me the $5 refund and I got that plus the Steelbook just fine so I got no complaints.

Futureshop shows sold out so we got something pretty rare and collectable. I just went and checked out EBAY and the cheapest I have seen these sell for at auction is $46.00 + $10 shipping and we all paid a fair amount less than that so whats the MAJOR problem here other than him possibly misrepresenting the cost of the item and making it look like he isn't making any money ? :)
