Argentosoma(Anime Complete Collection) goes for round 80 bucks on amazon and its 10 dollars at Big Lots.

Scrapped Princess Volume 1(with figure) and Volume 5(with mini figures) 10 each

Species Trilogy Collection 7 dollars

Hannibal Lecter 2 pack 5 bucks

Michael Moore 2 pack 7 bucks

and they had a good amount of other anime collections and movie collections for cheap and also had tons of new dvds that werent mgm for 3 dollars a piece. May want to check it out

In addition to these are the Woody Allen box sets vol. 2 ($16), Vol. 3 ($13), the Rocky box set for I think $13, the Species box set for $7, a smattering of random anime has been restocked (I picked up Cowboy Bebop 1, 3, 4 and 5 for $3/pop), the Great Horror Family complete series was $3 as well as Blue Sub #6.

There's a lot of great deals there if you dig.

Mine has alot of IGPX $3 DVDs, a $10 Kazo no Yojimbo set (complete series), a couple $3 Cowboy Bebop DVDs (session 1 and session 3 are the only ones I've seen), and a $10 boxset of some anime called DICE.

Nada here as well....place gets the PC video games but not much anime...if anything, saw several "Steamboys". I bought "Argentosoma" complete a few months ago but if you are able to purchase it for $10..that's a steal!

Haven't gotten much new stock at my local Big Lots.... they really haven't had much luck moving the tons and tons of MGM movies. Had picked up Thunderbird and Thunderbird 6, Steamboy, and Bubba Ho-Tep a few weeks ago, but since then there's been practically no new inventory. Saw Scrapped Princess Vol.1 but that was just the DVD by itself, no figure.

Argentosoma is probably the best steal among the anime boxsets as it carries an MSRP price of $89.99. :D I got like 5 of it and have it traded and resold

Managed to get to a not-frequented Big Lots today... found many of the Angel Tales vol.1 boxes, a bunch of some volume of Dice with a figure (didn't check which one), 1 IGPX set, 1 Dice collection, a couple .hack//sign vol. 6 LEs, 1 Case Closed disc, and a few random Grappler Baki volumes.

I bought an Angel Tales Box and the only copies of Yukikaze vol.1 LE and Steamboy.

Still no Argentosoma, tho' :cry: I wouldn't suppose someone would get one I could buy from them for not much more than cost+shipping?

Thanks for the heads up on this stuff. I snagged a few goosegumps dvd's ( nostalgia attack) and a scrapped princess set. Pretty sweet. I think I may have some galaxy angels at my store as well Orion.

Has anyone run across any of the Pink Panther cartoon DVDs other than volume 4 at big lots lately? In that last display that the local store got, there was a couple copies of volume 4, but I didn't see any of the other ones.

If flippable is reselling, I think the only one with Value is Argentosoma - $22.50 value at FYE. The rest... they will rebuy it for $1 - $4

I was able to trade Stratos 4 volume 3 to FYE and I got 4 dollars. I had originally payed three. I could have gotten more with store credit, but since I never shop there...
