Just call customer service and tell them that the game does not work. If they do not refund your money contact the BBB and leave a bad report. Other than that you can sell it on e-bay and when the people say it doesn't work say you shipped it mint and it must have been damaged in shipping, that is what I seem to have happen to me.

E-mail customer service about it, and also maybe call a B&M EB store and see if they'd resurface or replace it. Before you go do that, try cleaning the disc, I like to 'wash' it under warm running water and pat it dry with a towel. If there's scratches on it, perhaps also try using Disc Doctor

If you don't care about dicking peple over, I would go with ebay. In all seriousness, there is a chance that the game will work in another PS2 depending on how clean the lens is etc, so it may not even be a problem.

Can I return pre-played products?

Yes. EBgames.com is committed to your total satisfaction. If your pre-played purchase does not function correctly, you may return it to us for replacement. Defective merchandise must be in the same condition and with the same packaging as when purchased. For more information on our Return Policy, click here (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/help/shipping/returnPolicy.asp).

that has happened to me twice with DC games. just call their costomer support line and they will send you a prepaid envolope to send it back and then they will ship different ones too you.

It is a hassle but what can you do about it?

I just want to know. Dont they check the games to see if thy work before shipping them?

call customer service back and tell them bullshit, that they will need to send you a prepaid envelope. If they refuse then tell you will just call your credit card company and get a chargeback for the defective game.

If they still refuse then call your credit card company and start the chargeback process, and explain to them that the game is defective and the company refuses to correct the situation unless you fork over more money in the means of reshipping it back at your cost.

It's their damn responsibility to make sure the game works before it is shipped.

Also the game sells for $20 new so if you took it to a B&M Gamestop or EB you are going to be lucky to get $6 or $7 for it.

EDIT: As noted in another post write a complaint to the BBB.
