I go through keyboards and mice so quickly, it seems about every 6 months. This year I've gone through three mice and now my second keyboard is crapping out. These aren't cheap products -- 2x Wireless Desktop 6000s (http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Wireless-Laser-Desktop-69A-00001/dp/B000H14IDC/) and one Sidewinder (http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-HKA-00001-SideWinder-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B000TTQFIS) mouse.
I'm looking for quality now. Something that will last. I'm sick of spending a couple hundred dollars a year on replacements. The cheaper the better, of course, but quality/reliability above price. Recommendations?

DUDE ARE You like fapping to your mouse and keyboard?.. 6 months... gosh... FAP FAP click click type type *fap fap* Sorry I'm just a bit disgruntle right now. I'm using a beat up wireless Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard.. I don't know which type or year model.. but, I can sure say this keyboard and mouse has handle the WIFE pouring water onto the keyboard due to my exceesive online time. Also the mouse has taken a harsh beating from my 1 year old son. So I recommend Logitech.

I'm using a Logitech wireless mouse and I was using a Logitech wireless keyboard, but I switched to a Razer Tarantula that I got on clearance at Best Buy. The mouse I've had for at least 4 years now, so I definitely recommend Logitech stuff. If you can get hold of a Tarantula, I definitely would buy that, it's a pretty nice keyboard overall.

I think CAG 2.0 is wonky... my post looks like "These aren't cheap products -- Sidewinder mouse." but between the hyphen and Sidewinder I wrote some other stuff that seems to only appear when I quote it. Weird.
Anyway, I play a lot of Warcraft 3 and frequent some political forums (which means I type angrily).

I've got the Logitech G15 keyboard (older blue model) and the Logitech G5 mouse. I've had the keyboard for nearly a year and it's holding up extremely well. I've had the mouse about five months (replaced my Razor Copperhead) and it's just like it was first out of the box. The rubber grip hasn't shown any wear (the cause of me replacing my Razor after a year) and I haven't had any other issues, hardware or driver related.

Sorry for the bump -- updating in case someone searches and finds this thread when looking for similar advice.
I went with a G15 keyboard (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-000379-G15-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B000UHE8YM/) ($75) and G5 mouse (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-NEW-G5-Laser-Mouse/dp/B000ODN7VM/) ($45). $120 for the two of them, both wired and Logitech, and so far I've been quite impressed. I tried both out at Best Buy before buying, but the combined total was $185 at Best Buy so I went with Amazon.

If you want something indestructible, get an IBM model M. Unicomp (http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/) makes the new Model Ms, but the cheapest ones are about$70.
