View Full Version : How do u alphabetize your favorites list in internet explorer??

it used to alphabetize itself now it just puts favorites at the end of the list. I cant figure this out for shhhhhh.
Please help?

right click any area in the Favorites menu, then click on Sort by Name in the drop down menu that comes out

What? You SHOULD have the option. Right click on a bookmark, look for "Sort By Name". It should be second-last.

1) Open My Computer.
2) Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Favorites (where username is the name that shows up at the top of the XP (not classic) Start Menu bar. This is also known as your log on name.
3) Right Click on an open space (not on an icon of any kind) and select Arrange Icons By -> Name.
That should do it.

thanx for your help but it alphabatized the folder in my computer but my favorites list in IE is still the same. It wont refresh or change no matter what i do
any other options??

all regular options no sort by name option
