Hello everyone.

I decided that since I wasn't able to control the other Mario Kart thread OP (OP never got back to my PM a while ago), so I decided to create a thread specifically for CAG Mario Kart Wii Online. This thread won't just be for Mario Kart Monday, but if anyone at CAG wants to have an online game with CAGs on a certain day, let me know and I'll update the thread title so everyone will know. I was noticing a trend of many people missing Mario Kart Monday because since they don't see a time in the OP, they end up forgetting about it. This thread will be devoted to just Mario Kart Wii Online match ups.

CAG Private Match

Here's how Mario Kart Wii Online works at CAG. You must be buddies me (Mana Knight) or the person who hosts. If you are NOT friends with me and/or not friends with anyone, you will NOT be able to join Mario Kart Monday. If you want to join, please let us now ahead of time. If you don't show up for a bit or remain quiet over Mario Kart Monday, I/We have the right to remove you from our buddy list since there's only 30 slots available and if we need to make room, we will.

CAG Regional Match

For a CAG regional match, all you need to do is be friends with ONE person who plays. As long as you are, try to meet up with them and you'll jump into their game. However, when doing regional, you will play random people from across North America.

I could also make some indicator as far as which CAG members have Skype. Also. I may add links to each persons profile.

Right now, the :wii: logo you see next to some people's name, that links to their post where they posted their Mario Kart Wii friend code. I'm going to try to hunt down all the friend codes and link to them. If people rather I just stick their friend codes right next to their name instead, I can do that (probably seems like a better idea, and have the link directed to their profile). I just kind of hate listing friend codes here since that's the purpose of your thread BlueLobstah. ;)

If you are in a room with someone not on your friend list, you can add them easily.

There's two buttons during such a scenario (not sure on the names)
[register] and [message]

Select [register] and then "Let's be friends, _____!". That message will be shown to everyone like normal messages. Then the person it was directed towards will be able to select [register] and then "____ and I are friends now!"

Feel free to quote/revise if you know the button names.

Should be there tonight, but not for long. The earlier it is, the longer I can be and the more likely I'll be there.

I've been doing that the last 2 mondays myself actually. Since they actually do a MVP for Mario Kart on Sunday and Monday , I'll probably end up doing the Goozex Night one on Sunday so that I can show up for the CAG one on Monday.

If anyone would like to show up for the Goozex MVP night that would be great. The last few times we've been short on people (especially on sunday) and so no MVP title was awarded.:cry: If anyone is interested or wants more info feel free to PM or check out the thread on Goozex , so as not to clutter this thread wth another sites game night.

Just saying , but the Wii does offer keyboard support. I don't know off hand if it has to be a specific kind of keyboard , but if your using the wii as your primary access to the internet , you might want to look into getting a cheap one that's compatible. I could find out more info if either of you want are interested.
