I read a post here from Rozz about my indepedent game store called CGX in the Wellington Green mall that said my games are priced too high and I wanted to apologize to him and anyone else that visited CGX (Console Game Exchange) during our 1st few weeks of business. We have since repriced every game in our inventory to be competitive with all game stores in South Florida. We take all trade ins from all console systems and we sell games and systems from just about every console ever made. Please come by our store if you're ever in Wellington, FL and see for yourself. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Sincerely,
the owner of CGX Victor Williams

well of course the games are going to be expensive they have got to pay that high mall rent
that is the price you pay for the premium location
Ill check you guys out
hey are you guys hiring ?
I can work off the books
I'm honored that my comments have been taken to heart. :D
I will definitely give it another try. The store set up was nice but the prices just seemed obscenely high to me. But now that you said that you've improved I will definitely give you guys a second chance.

hey David, Gamecube games range from $15.00-$34.00. Mario Party 6 is $25.00 but we sold out of them at the end of last week. Keep checking, we're getting more trade-ins everyday :)

Heard about the place before but have never actually been in there before. Then again it's been a while since I've been to the wellington mall. Might have to check the place out next time I'm over that way.

I liked how the store was laid out, and your selection was fairly good, but the prices on your used games was just to much for me. Maybe it was mostly since I looked at your 6th gen stuff, but there was very few things that were competitive in price. Its not even just 2 or 3, some of the stuff was $10 to $15 more then I could get it elsewhere, like Viewtiful Joe, which is $3 at Gamestop, $3+shipping on Amazon, but $18 where you are for a used copy.
One thing I forgot to ask though, what is your prices on some older stuff, like NES, SNES, and N64 games? If its hard to do general statements, how about the prices for Megaman 2, Megaman 7, and Mario 64.

I was a CGX a long time ago and I was asking an employee the prices of a couple things and he had a bad attitude. He told me that the sega menacer and the super gameboy (for snes) weren't for sale. It's a shame, I had nearly $300 cash burning a hole in my pocket from my birthday. Don't remember the employee's name but I think he was bald or balding.
I'm excited to hear about the price changes. I'll definately give your store another try. Maybe this guy was telling the truth or maybe I just caught him on a bad day.
