:D Just so happy tonight... football team (I coach) travelled tonight for the first game. We took our entire team of 10 and played against the 'bad guys' who had 25 on their team. We won, what is amazing is that since we have so few players, this was the first time 'going live' since summer camp began.
So proud of those kids!
Happy camper to say the least!

How anyone wins with only 10 players... that's just voodoo economics, that's all it is.

Did they play with 1 less player since football is normally 11 on 11? If they didn't, then they must really suck to lose with a man advantage.

9 man football.. small schools in Midwest play 9-man. same size field, just drop out the tackles. Took some getting used to after playing 11 man in High School and College.. but basically the same game (well maybe a bit more open (outside the ends) .. Montana had 8man , Texas I think has 6 man.

Ever see Unnecessary Roughness? It was kinda like that. One SUB. call for defense and the one guy on the bence runs on the field. Offense..one guy switches.

9 man football.. small schools in Midwest play 9-man. same size field, just drop out the tackles. Took some getting used to after playing 11 man in High School and College.. but basically the same game (well maybe a bit more open (outside the ends) .. Montana had 8man , Texas I think has 6 man.
Yep Texas has 6 man although I have no idea how it works. I just know I've seen signs while either driving towards Houston or San Antonio that say 6 man football state champs. I want to say Sealy, but I don't think that's right because that's where Eric Dickerson's from and I don't think he played 6 man though I could be wrong.

Yeah, I live in northern MN and I know of a few schools around here that play 9-man.

I think thats a part of it, (kids 99%) but after 2 years.. maybe I have a bit of a clue as to how to prepare. (This year its just all about basics, knocking the Crap out of people, and being "football "PLAYAS!!"
Your oldest nephew won 8 prizes on the football toss at PTO night ( honestly the kid has a cannon) and youngest nephew.(for the time being) Thor is just built like a brick.. as big has his 3 year older brother now!
get the twins out here and things willl be good!
