See people showing off their collections all the time but never really took many of mine because I didnt have the space to really display my stuff. Just moved into a new apartment and finally got everything but my PC stuff and old consoles like the Magnavox Odyssey/Atari etc etc.out(that would take up far too much space!. Figured id show my colllection off even though its a bit messy at the moment.

Ermmmm dont mind critics or people posting better collections but there are about 600 games on that shelf. Also as I stated my older stuff is kept in the closet. Iv got every major system every made from the Genesis and Saturn to the NES and Gamecube. I just dont have space to keep everything out so I keep all my games from the last 2 or 3 gens out and anything I can emulate stays in the closet.

Moving sucks.
Anyways I do like the bookshelves you have, and the collection is nice.
Though displaying boxes and figures seem a bit untidy, though even I don't know what would be nice to display them without doing the same.

Personally I want to keep all of my boxed games together on 1 shelf....currently you cant even in the pic or in person see very well several of my really nice boxed games. However my fiancee HATES that and has this weird thing when it comes to organizing. Seeing as she let me have the master bedroom to turn into a media room and let the tiny bedroom be where we sleep iv let her organize my collection however the hell she feels like. Its kinda hard whenever she agrees to take a bedroom thats just big enough to fit our bed and looses a big walk in closet to argue no you cant rearrange my stuff in the other bedroom. The only hard part of the bargain was she hates my Castlevania SotN wallscroll which I really wanted to hang up.

Hey I don't mean to take away from your thread, but do you ever have any problems with the cases getting warped from the heat? I don't if it's just my lightbulb or the fact that I share a room with my little brother, but my DVD & PS2 game cases on my shelf keep shrinking and warping, especially the newer ones in the crappy quality cases. It has even wrinkled up the cover artwork in some of my games and is becoming frustrating. Any recommendations?
Cool collection BTW.

Nah, just pulled a few games off the shelf and looked and I dont really notice anything. I live in Ohio too so we get that nasty heat here and I never ran the air conditioner at our old place either so if anyone was gonna get "heat damage" it should be me. Shelf wear on the other hand is a bitch given how often I play my games and the way they are packed in there.
And o yeah to the guy that said he liked the book shelfs. The big one in the middle was made by my uncle, but the 2 small ones on the side can be bought at Walmart for like $20-$25. Great for any game collector.

I live in miami where it's humid as hell and I don't have that problem. If you keep them pressed together tightly on a shelf, even humidity can't get to them.
boxes warping is probably from a very hot light or something.

Hmm, well I recently replaced my lightbulb with a duller one, so maybe that will help solve the problem. The ceiling light is fairly close to my shelf. Thanks for the advice guys.

You should order some bulk GGN/PS2 cases to rid yourself of those Gamestop stickers.

Great collection but I honestly don't see why you didn't just put this in the collection thread. Don't get me wrong, you've got some awesome stuff and I love the variety but that thread was created to keep this clutter out.
