No, it's not. It's like paying full MSRP for TFU and getting a gift card so you can make an additional purchase at $20 off. If you choose to use it on the B2G1 deal, you have spent $80 plus tax for four games which could be a good deal if it's four games you wanted. Personally, I think TFU is going to fall hard in price very quickly given the very mediocre reviews and I just can't find three $20 games at TRU I need at this point. So, I'm going to pass on both deals.

I was waiting for that deal too. I'm hoping this isn't in place of that though since I've been waiting for their annual B2G1F sale. Usually that hits in October so hopefully we get some word on that in the upcoming weeks.

I have owned all three of those and they are well worth the $20 each let alone the B2G1! I would add Space Invaders Extreme and Contra 4 to the list since I got those back when TRU did B1G50% off for $19.99 and under.

Some CAG said 10/12 for TRU's yearly B2G1 free, but I never saw proof or verification for it. Maybe they were guessing... Just a rumor now. October is going to be such a crazy month for new games, I hope it hits the right week (come on...Little Big Planet). Trust me, I will be very excited to see when the B2G1 comes online and ready to roll.

As with all TRU sales, keep checking Firday (hourly if necessary) to see when they start their online part of the sale.

Yea your right because I know that a decent SW game will not get bought at full price by the massive amounts of SW fans. Also, since its in this awful time of year for video games people are starving for something decent.

In the DS version, the top screen is a far view and the bottom screen is the near view. The PSP version is one perspective. There are those who swear by the PSP version, but I preferred the DS version.

On Space Invaders Deluxe, the PSP version had better grahics and sound. However, the DS had more clever use of the dual screen. The long DS playfield works better than the wide PSP screen.

No, RE4 was put on clearance a couple of months ago and is no longer in any stores as far as I know. Apollo Justice is still $30.

Can TRU look up your receipt if you paid with a credit card? I bought Arkanoid/Space Invaders on the B1G1-50% sale last month but can't find the receipt. I haven't opened either game but this seems like it'll be a slightly better deal (~$13.33 each as opposed to $15) if I only can find 1 additional $19.99 game I want.

But I can't find my receipt right now... but with how TRU's stock has been lately (at least in LA) I think I need to go in the morning to get games before it's totally picked clean. Was thinking I can look some more tomorrow for the receipt and return to the TRU near my work but would prefer to just do it all tomorrow if anyone knows their policy. Answered my own question, they can look up receipts from past purchases.

So I bought today:
Arkanoid DS
Space Invaders Extreme DS
Speed Racer Wii (Had heard fairly decent-ish stuff about it and figured $13.33 wasn't too bad to try it out)

And then returned Arkanoid and SIE with the lookup from my purchase in August. (yay, it's the chain of deals that never ends! And saves me gas going back to the store once I find the receipts for my original copies)

Overall, though, pretty poor selection. Didn't help this TRU was undergoing massive remodelling, but the $19.99 price point was poorly represented.

I picked up Virtua Figher 5 Online (360), Blast Works, and N+ (PSP). I was shocked to find Virtua Fighter 5 Online for $19.99. This was the first time I saw Blast Works anywhere. So, I got pretty lucky.

I was kind of worried about picking up Virtua Fighter 5 Online because of the Virtua Fighter 5 R arcade update. But, from what I understand it makes some drastic changes, so it is much more than just new characters. So, like Virtua Fighter 4 it will likely be worth it to own both versions.

If my wallet will allow it I may grab Space Invaders Extreme (DS), Mercury Meltodown Revolution, and Crosswords DS.

I was kind of reluctant on Cake Mania 2, but my BF really enjoys those games. I did play the demo on the Nintendo Channel when it was available and it was actually really enjoyable. A lot better than the first Cake Mania for DS. That one was pretty glitchy and weird. :(

Mystery Case Files is bad ass though. Everyone should get that game with Space Invaders Extreme. I don't care what else you get.. just make sure you get those 2 games.

Nope. Didn't have those or Clubhouse Games or Hotel Dusk. So that pretty much killed the deal for me last Sunday. They did have VF5O though. Same with the KMart down the block, no Okami and Dead Rising for their $5 off greatest hit titles and the Best Buy I stopped by didn't have either to price match :bomb: I don't understand why Okami isn't on anyone's website but GS's.

Anyways, maybe I'll try again today even though I know it will be a waste of gas and time and I should probably save my money anyways. That RE UC and B2G1 deal with the $10 off coupon is really tempting though.
