I need one of the bits, I think 3.8 mm that opens NES SNES and N64 carts. The only places I can find them at are expensive or OOS.

Anyone have any ideas of where I could get them cheap online or B&M that's actually in stock?

Ebay
I don't know any B&M stores that sell this although I found a seller on a local craigslist ad a couple of months ago.

And do I need a magnetic screwdriver handle?

Try this place (http://electricquarter.com/tool-38mm-45mm-security-game-p-59.html?osCsid=1a72d1ebf39ef8b5173dd14a6b3cde53). I got mine through one of their ebay auctions, but you can also buy straight from them and not deal with ebay. I found about them from the Digital Press forums. The link I gave you is for two bits. I found it is good to have both. I also got the triwing driver in case I needed to open GBA games or gamecube controllers.

Thanks for the help.

I'll grab the 4.5 too for genesis carts.

You dont NEED to use a magnetic driver for it, but it would make the job over 9000 times easier, trust me.

If you haven't gotten one already, check with CAG BrianMoy. I think he has some for sale on his TL.

It's just the handle, like a regular screwdriver would have. Otherwise you would just be buying the tip of the driver which is only like 2.5 inches long and hard to turn if you have big hands since it has barely any grip.

Does Play N Trade sell 'em?

Otherwise Ebay/AmazonProbably not. Depends on your PnT since they're all franchises and has different stock.

I looked up harbor freight on mapquest and its like 20 miles away but its cheaper than buying online.

I think dealextreme has them, they ship from HK so it will take about 2 weeks for you to get it but they are ultra cheap at only 1-2$ each I think.
