Bingo. They have these blockbuster deals often. The last one started at 5pm. It was great I left work and got there just about 5pm. So I grabbed a cart and proceeded to spend, too much, money. The deals were good for toys. I'd rather they do the afterwork then during saturday morning, which is hard to get to with two young kids.

This is a separate ad from the weekly ad. This ad will probably show up on thursday/friday in your local paper or mail.

That's pretty normal for TRU sales, and in fact a lot of places do that sort of thing. It's a bit like a preview of the sale proper that actually starts the next day but might be able to get people to come in on the way home from work or whatever who wouldn't come out on the weekend.

$25 for RE Umbrella Chronicles is sweet...but I'm going to go to Circuit City or Best Buy, buy it and have them give me 110% of the difference, for a bonus $2.50 off...

FYI, got the ad in the LA Times today so it should be in your local paper if you're lucky.

And even at $25 versus $16.96 Fire Emblem is well worth it - it's doubtful Nintendo will reissue/reprint it, Circuit Cities were completely wiped out of it the first day or two it was clearanced, and if it's anything like Fire Emblem POR on Gamecube, it's going to be very hard to find, and maintain its value. Even with the best coupon from Gamestop, it's still $44.99 - 30~35% at best, in the high $20's. Better to get it brand new.

Got two copies of Metroid Prime 3 (one for me and my brother) last night in Clarence (Buffalo) NY. Now I have to decide whether to play my unplayed copies of Metroid Prime one & two first or skip to three....

So I went in, was the first one there. Grabbed a copy for MP3 and RE:UC... the best part was they let me use the $10 off $50 coupon. I couldn't believe my luck. got both for 39.99. I suggest you all try it. Its the coupon thats on the front of their mailing catalog. Not sure how I got it, or where to get it another copy w/ coupon.

I ended up getting RE UC, FE, and a Microsoft 360 media remote that was $3 and used my $10 off coupon. Not a bad deal :) My TRU was having that deal until 1:00 instead of 12:00.

I probably would have done the B2G1 deal instead of FE if they had Air Traffic Chaos and Okami. Oh well, I got the last Okami (hid behind a bunch of $30 GH Odin Spheres) for $15 at Best Buy.
