So, you're allowing your social life to take a hit in return for cheap games?

I was thinking the same thing. Lots of games. Less women.

I already have a gf and don't think she would care if I asked people for video games.

I'm the opposite. I'm single, happily staying that way and not even half jokingly looking for anyone at this point.

If anything, I've learned that games are easier to deal with, you can turn them on/off in an instant usually and you usually don't have to deal with nag, nag, nagging(unless it's a Sims game n you're the hubby or something like that).

I have an extremely cynical view on marriage as well so your not the only one, the last thing I want to end up with is living with some crab who yells at me for the rest of my life (or someone who is fine then turns all crabby and mean soon after you tie the knot). Seen too much bad stuff happen in my life to even consider it. The married people that I know are either in debt or very unhappy in their marriage and acting all happy when they are around people as if to play the role that they are happy when they are really not, or most likely both unhappy AND in debt. The debt usually comes from the wedding and honeymoon and thus puts strains on the marriage at the very beginning, ok don't even get me started on this issue, its not something I even want to think about. Living alone in peace when I get older is looking pretty good right now.

You can have women without being in a relationship with them.
