A few days ago, when Ugamer was banned, unbanned, banned...etc. I made a sarcastic joke about the CAG servers being down and explained that is why he came back and was gone again. Later in the day, I again made that sarcastic remark and added that the CAG servers were located in Texas where hurricane Ike hit.

It has come to my attention that this comment was tasteless, insensitive, and disrespectful. I just want to you let you know that I meant no offense towards anyone, though I understand if anyone was offended, and I want to apologize to all...and I hope that there's no hard feelings.

STALKER is set in an area called the "Zone" surrounding the Chernobyl NPP. So the basic premise is that these "STALKERs" come to the zone to find these special artifacts and then sell them to the outside world, and others come to avoid other things in outside world such as the police, and there is more plot to it, but it is hard to explain without spoiling it.

It is a FPS/RPG hybrid that has a very cool open world environment, the only thing is that it is pretty buggy in some areas and some computers. Also it does require a fairly beefy system to run.

I played Saints Row first. Then I played Crackdown. Both were purchased used from GS.
I had a ton more fun playing Crackdown. Saints Row was... good. But there were so many irritating aspects and it was glitchy as all fuck. The game is basically a GTA knockoff and parody in one (not necessarily a bad thing) but it sort of forces you to do a bunch of the side missions... that was the nice thing about GTA... didn't want to drive the cab, the pizza delivery scooter, the cop car, the ambulance, etc? you're good. SR said "fuck that, we'll force you to do these things by giving you *respect* for them... and you can't advance to story missions without *respect*".

Ok, say they changed the naming to card 1,2,3,4, etc.

When they release their series of cards for the period, they usually release a low-end, a mid, and a high end card.

So if the first set of cards was 1, 2, 3 the next time they release a set of cards, it'd be 4, 5, 6 (using this sequential system)

However, card #4 is still the low end card for the series, even though its the new series. It probably isn't going to be better than the high end card from the first set of card.

So instead, nvidia lets you know which card is the low end one by including the number in the series number.

Low end for nvidia= 600 at the point in time. So, even though the 9000 series of card is newer than the 8000 series, the 9600 is the low end card of the series. Of course its better than the previous low end card, the 8600, but it isn't better than the high end card of the previous series, the 8800.

How high end you go is also determined by that GT suffix. So a GTS is a step above a GT, A GTX is higher than the GTS.

Most likely. You have to see the details on the next series to be sure though. Maybe they introduced DDR8 or something with the next series that makes it faster. But in most cases, yes, the low end card of the new series is worse than the high/mid of the previous.
