PS3 Xbox360 so what next..?

Hi

Im new here and my xbox 360 elite has 3 red lights again! :|

It will be in for repair again so im thinking of getting a PS3 but I have some questions.

I have a HDTV and wonder how and if it will be possible to have both consoles running on the same TV without having to change cables etc?

Next.. where can I get a dam good deal on PS3 , im from england so in GBP, the best deal i found was £300 for 80GB PS3 but would prefer to spend £200.

Please advise, and is the PS3 any good??

You can connect both boxes at the same time in any number of ways. It all depends on the number and types of inputs your tv has. If you've only got 1 HDMI (like mine does), you can either connect the 360 on component and the PS3 via HDMI or vice versa. Or you can connect both via an HDMI switcher to your tv. Or you can use a receiver that does switching for you. Or or or. We really need more info to provide you any real advice. :)

i have my 360 connected with VGA/Optical and my PS3 with HDMI

I have my PS3 connected with HDMI, my online US console in the other HDMI, and any other xbox I hook up via VGA (best non-hdmi, imo).
