just wanna lyk, that 25percent off ds is only applied on the ds hardware.

for example. ds cost 130, game : 40, and accessory at 10 is

180 right? 25percent off is 180 - 45 + should cost 135.

but instead, only the ds hardware is taken off

The deal would most likely ring up as a bundle/package deal where if you return one thing you would have to return them all. If you wanted to swap out a game or an accessory for the same price or pay the difference for the game/accessory at a later date then yeah no problem.

Also on a side note, any word of this deal working with the GH: On Tour DS Bundle? (Assuming that it would be considered as a DS)+game+accessory and getting 25% off the whole thing!?

TRU stores already have Mario Kart in stores for the most part, plus they are shipping tons of wheels this week to cover the ad.

And I do know the exact date of the B2G1 sale, I just do not know the exact details so I am waiting until they are 100% before I post the thread, which is already typed up.

I don't know about in stores, but online you had to buy a game and accessory to go along with the GH bundle.

It still kinda irks me that they don't seem to carry Coral Pink systems in store (or in-stock at TRU.com, for that matter). Friend of mine doesn't care for any of the metallics (plus I've heard of some strange screen issues, like color tinting?), and she prefers Pink out of the Onyx/Polar/Coral trio. :-|

Would the deal allow for me buying one of whatever colors they do have available, and then trading it in (sealed of course) for a Coral Pink later on? You know, providing I somehow find one at a TRU. :roll:

You can exchange it within 45 days. Good luck finding a pink one though. My store hasn't seen one in 3-4 months.

Check out the ad. Apparently you need to buy a 29.99 game and a 29.99 accessory in order for the 25% off deal for the ds lite bundle.

*Just came back from Toys r us. Picked up the metallic silver ds lite with Advance Wars Day of Ruin, and Nintendo DS Starter Kit for 147.47. Wanted to get one of the limited pokemon ds lite but the cashier said it was not under the deal since it is already a bundle. Might just stop there later this week to see if I can exchange it for the pokemon ds. Anyway each item in the bundle has a 45 day return/exchange period.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I got the Limited pokemon ds lite. First off none of the employees knew about it and had to walk out there and read the ad signs. One of them said no u can't get the pokemon deal. So i walked around and asked another person and they said yes. Sweet!

The store I work at had 15-20 Wii's on Roto-Hold for this sale, and we still have at least 10 left. And the wheels? We seriously got about 50 in.

Oh, and the DS deal rings up 25% off the total, at least where I work.

Online is a different story. Most of the accessories and game for the DS can be purchased with the 25% off DS bundle. However, it is impossible to get the Limited Pokemon DS lite.

I ordered one from toysrus.com the Black/blue and a copy of Contra 4 and received the discount. In fact, if you order a DS you like and $9.99 min in accessories/games you get the discount on the DS. You don't have to have a $29.99 accessory and game, just minimum $10 addition item (either a game or accessory). I ordered on Sunday and it finally shipped today.

I just tried this with the Metallic Silver Ds (The only one they have left in stock online) and some $9.99 folio bag and it applies the DS discount to $97 in the shopping cart. I also read online that people can just go to the store pick out a Ds along with a $30 game and $30 accessory and then just promptly return the game/accessory. Though your personal store might have a different policy so YMMV but he had no issues and kept his $97 DS.

Well I was planning on getting a $30 game anyway, and I doubt I'll get a $20 accessory but I can definitely pick something out in the $10-20 range.
