i believe it really depends on where you're located and the "luck of the draw". i used free shipping when i ordered mine and it was here within a week, if i recall correctly. yes, they charge tax, but even at $322 and change (for me) it was still an excellent deal.

I did a ton of traveling for work until recently, and hotel tvs are :puke:. Even though I was only packing my Wii, I was amazed to see that, yes, the graphics could look worse. I can't imagine something as technically beautiful as the 360 rendered on diseased hotel televisions.

Actually the hotel I've been at for the last 8 weeks have HDTV's in all of the rooms. It's a relatively new hotel though. I tend to stay at Hampton Inn's too as they seem the most up to par. This is the 2nd one I've been in that's like this. Maybe they're doing an overhaul?

i bought the dang thing and i already owned two 360s at the time. i couldn't justify having three, so i sold one of my older non-HDMI sets on Ebay to take some of the sting off. love my Elite -- it's so quiet and the black casing looks great in my entertainment center (the chrome drive face still kills me though).

Sad but QFT. When I sent my last system in they sent a brand new console with a very recent manufactured date after the falcon came out. I figured that was going to be the end of the problems but they are starting up again. Freezing issues and unplayable disc errors are starting to creep up. I love the games and live but the system reliability is a very big problem for Microsoft.
