I have pre-ordered Far Cry 2, SOCOM, Resistance 2 and Fallout 3 all were Gold Box items. Dang, I want Farcry 2 really badly, but I honestly don't know which of the three platforms to buy it for. (Ditto for Mirror's Edge, etc.) The 360 probably had the most exclusives I want still, so I probably should just treat it as my main system, and hopefully the update this fall will make it effectively much quieter.

For a preorder, it seems logical that they would fulfill the orders of the people who paid for fast shipping first, then move on to the Super Saver orders. It's unpredictable, that's why it's free.

Yeah, I couldn't get that screen before. I got it now, though I still may go the B&M route as an extra week might be too long for this game for me.

What's really nice about this promo is after the first preordered game ships, you can apply the $10 GC to the next preordered game (providing it hasn't shipped yet) and keep doing this again and again, rolling over $50 charges and getting another GC when that game ships. You can do this. I had a free month of prime a little while ago and i preordered a bunch of books and blu rays all with 2 day shipping. Every one since has shipped in the 2 days. But u cannot change the order after ur prime expires or u lose the free shipping.

The 'one per household' appears to be per game. So if you preorder 2 LBPs for one household you get one GC. But if you preorder LBP and Fable 2 you get two GCs.

Yes, you won't see it in your cart, they will just email it to you as they have done in the past. To be safe I took screenshots of all the item pages that had the $10 GC offer on them so I have them to send as backup in case they don't come through with the GC's.

Just watch when they come they don't necessarily come from Amazon.com I think their GC unit is called A2Z Services or something like that. Just don't mistake it for spam.

BML is the Bill Me Later promo. They offer $5 off a $25 purchase, $10 off a $50 purchase, etc. on some items.

I decided to try it with Fallout 3 Xbox 360 (reg ed). You need to sign up for Bill Me Later, put in the coupon code during checkout, and then discount is applied immediately. So the regular edition was $50. Here's hoping for a $10 gift card on top of this :)

You should have read the Terms for the GC, it said it would be sent out within 10 days of the game's release. So around the 1st of November give or take a few days.

The last $10 gc promotion I was in on they sent it within a few days of shipping (SCIV, I believe.) Definitely taking a long time for Fable II.

I hope so. One thing to note about the Bill Me Later promo: you have to enter the code on the page where you place your order (last page of checkout). The coupon does nothing on the page where you select payment type, though the way it's worded it sounds like that's where you're supposed to enter it. Hopefully that nugget of info helps someone else out, it was starting to drive me crazy.

It's $3 off and when you consider that most of us don't pay tax on Amazon purchases and you can get free shipping, it makes it a heck of a deal on A-list games, particularly when they add a $10 credit toward another purchase on the whole deal.

I emailed Amazon and their reply contained the standard gift card email (containing the code, of course) stating that 'You may have a filter set up for spam messages though which our e-mail message was not authorized.' I highly doubt this because I got the Far Cry 2 gift card just a week ago. But I used the code and all is well again, for now...

Whatever the case, I hope I don't have to remind them about my Fallout 3 $10 bonus or Gears of War 2 gift card.

I just called about Valkyria Chronicles and they say there was no such deal, and its removed from the site now I cancelled. I hate bait and switch deals. Will buy at CC online when its 44.99 CC online at least has been honest every deal that was promised was delivered Amazon is fading.

I personally have my own beef with CC. I pre-ordered Fallout 3 before it was released, and I still haven't gotten it. It just shipped out yesterday, and via USPS. I'll be lucky to get it NEXT week. The same thing happened with Spore, and they're totally unresponsive and uncaring in their customer support.

So they may have good deals, but I'm not bothering with them anymore.

It's possible we just need to wait a little longer with Fable II. They did say within 10 days after shipment, and I don't think it's been 10 yet.

Well CC has its problems Obviously, but it worked well for me on Fable 2, Fallout 3, RFOM 2, NBA 2k9, Dead Space, Saints Row2, Little Big Planet, and soon GeOW 2. All got $10 directly from the website via instantly usable gift card, and $15 on both Fable 2 and Little Big Planet all shipped on or before release day. I was amazed myself. Maybe I just got lucky. Because in the past CC has a shoddy record with me, but this time it worked. Don't know it there is much of a future for CC anyway tis a shame.

Well today is the 10th business day since Fable II's release. Since Amazon is in PST they are probably not "open" yet where they would start sending out the codes to people.

If I don't get it by like 9pm PST, I'll call tomorrow. I want to use the $10 GC on some Blu-Ray's I wanted to get.

I have pics of the Resistance 2 gift card, also have Quantum of Solace, Prince of Persia, Gears of War 2, Call of Duty: World at War, and Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts preorders or bonus info. (I didn't get one of LBP, which sucks cause I'm waiting for my gift card)

The Resistance 2 gift card was if you pre-ordered it, so it doesn't show anymore since it came out today. Hope they give them out so I don't have to send them emails about this...
