Ok so I have a compaq with this drive currently:

160GB Parallel ATA (P-ATA) hard drive - 7,200 RPM RoHS

I want to replace it with a bigger drive. From what I've read P-ATA is simply a renaming of IDE? I'm also seeing things like Ultra 100 or Ultra 133. I'm guessing that's a speed thing? Would something like this be a decent replacement for my drive?:

That hard drive will work good. All your guesses are correct, PATA = IDE. Though you will not realistically see a speed difference between ATA100 and ATA133, you're basically buying the drive for capacity.
