Geon - Its got trophies!

Got the game and its pretty fun, and it has trophies. One of them is "play at least one game online.". Easier said then done, not a single game going on online lol, this game was released 3 days ago!! Sad.

Partially because it was released on a busy day and most decided to avoid it (due to what they heard of the 360 version).

I MIGHT buy the game.

If there was a demo/video of this game I am sure someone else would have downloaded it. As of right now I have no idea what it is!

I totally agree you need demos or some gamplay video before I will purchase a game that has no history. I went to two other sites and no one even has screen captures of the game.

Smog should be able to give impressions as he's played it for a decent amount of time.

I've only played it one time and didn't really know what was going on so I may post back when I get some proper time with it, although that may be a while.

Anyway, most did ignore this game because of other releases, but I heard it's actually pretty good. I might buy this on Thursday if I don't see anything that catches my eye right away. When reading the forum discussion at PS3 Trophies.org, the impressions have been positive.

New goal scoring system which encourages player interaction (it’s essential to stop your opponent from scoring);
Redesigned single player maps.
Introduction of a new League mode.
Players have attack and shield as standard (instead of only via a power-up) allowing for greater interaction with (thumping the hell out of) your opponent.
Redesigned power-ups, with the introduction of new ones such as Bliss’ ghost cubes (which collect pellets for you) and Rage’s extra attack.
Improved AI to handle the new gameplay.
1080p High Definition visuals.

Anyway, I've had some time to play with it and it's a fairly solid game and great in multiplayer.
