To let everyone know, their might be a game on Sunday before GTAIV. I'm going to look into cleaning up my buddy list a bit to make Burnout Paradise work (please, everyone do not add me if you have a few of my friends who regularly play on my list, since I'm limited on space).

I'm also hoping with this thread I can better keep track of what events need to be done still for certain people, to obtain better competition. Also, if anyone is interested in playing Burnout Paradise with other CAGs (and hosting themselves), let me know and I'll update the thread with your game (if you want me to).

Also, just for fun, if people want me to (and it's ok by both parties), I may start a collection of CAGs taken out (photos) in this thread too. Lots of plans coming to CAG Burnout night. I feel this is a perfect time to start fresh. :)

How exactly does online burnout work, does everyone enter the same race? or do you just take everyone down for fun. I just got the game today and haven't tried online yet, although I did see freaky win some races.

Basically, the world is a lobby, and the host sets up challenges and races, and people go and meet there and complete the challenges as a group. Everyone must contribute at least something to a challenge or else everyone gets nothing. You're only as strong as your weakest link after all.

Press L1 + R1 while driving in any road... You'll be in showtime mode. Try hitting all the buses you see to multiply your score, and hit any cars that come your way. ;)

Ohh! I know what the problem is... What you're doing is Timed Road Rules, and what you're supposed to be doing is 'Timed Challenges'. The host has to make 10 of these Timed Challenges so that you can get this trophy. :)

I'm sorry Allah, I won't do it again. I did hear you, but I didn't think you were that serious... although I don't think my breaking your Road Rule times will affect how you get trophies, since every time you initially set gets counted towards receiving those trophies. ;)

Maybe you could transfer your save to a memory stick and start a new game, quickly beating 10 road rules. After you can just transfer back your save since I don't think the trophies are tied to the save.

What I did was I deleted my old save files, and started the game again from scratch, and I collected all the trophies... So I'm still trying to get all my cars back. ;)

Assuming you backed up your save data... when you are done getting all your trophies, I believe you can start using your old save data again to get all your cars back. :)

Actually the carbon hawker is speed based and the regular hawker is stunt based. I prefer stunt based cars for general stuff.

To let everyone know, I tried doing the 10 Timed Challenges, and they did not register. Did not register with bikes, cars (doing 10 of the same type and 10 various ones), so I'm a bit angry. Come to find out, others had that issue at the PS3Trophies.org forums:

Someone said that they got it with 5 Car and 5 Bike Challenges. So...maybe you need at least 1 of each or something? Kind of like the Challenges. Everyone needs to do their part.

EDIT: Only need to get the Burnout License and 10 Freeburn challenges to get the Platinum. Problem is I still have NAT3 atm (dumb DSL modem) so I can't get that.

The only trophy is timed that I need..which sucks. But trying the 5 timed for bikes guess try that too. Doesnt hurt since I want to get my 101% for bikes.

I THINK there might be more bikes because there's supposedly a new island coming out. Free or not I don't know. As fun as using the bikes, I hope they add more challenges/trophies for them.

I suggest doing the timed challenges with people you know. I did it last week and you always have one guy just driving around not doing them. You of course boot them from the room and they enter back in and just keep driving and driving......

There's always room.As of late, not completely (but still usually at least 2 slots). There has been more than enough to fill 8 slots lately (since the update), but I haven't bothered inviting everyone at times since I know some would slow us down in Timed Challenges (not to be mean, but they are a bit harder to do and prefer those who may not know the game well to join in until they get more comfortable with Paradise city).

Anyway, there will probably a game on Sunday, due to the Presidential debate taking time.

My buddy just got a PS3 and Paradise. Evern though I have much more experience than him, he keeps taking me down usually at a 2:1 pace. He seems to win nearly every head on collision and even if i have bigger, stronger car.

Finally got my Platinum trophy. Switched back to my original save, where I don't have the "10 miles online w/ 8 people" Paradise reward anymore. I'll probably stick with 87% trophies or whatever I have now until the next DLC comes out.
