I was just browsing the internet when I stumbled across an old Project H.A.M.M.E.R screen shot. It got me wondering, did Nintendo ever release an official statement on it's cancellation? I've always wondered why it was canceled, because I remember being really excited for this game back when it was shown at E3 '06. I'm still really disappointed that it was canceled, because I still think it looks really BA.
Any info? I looked around and all I could find was speculation.

AMN: Why are games like Disaster and Project H.A.M.M.E.R. not being shown?
Beth Llewellyn: We shifted development resources. However, Disaster: Day of Crisis is still in development and coming along nicely.
AMN: So is Project H.A.M.M.E.R. canceled?
Llewellyn: Development resources have been shifted for the time being, but it may come back. But right now, it's not a focus of ours.
AMN: So it's not currently in development? Is it on pause?
Llewellyn: Uh... probably... yeah. Again, we shifted our focus. Some games have shifted development resources.
