Thanks OP. I've had to wait far too long for a drop on Galaxy, but I think it's finally time. I can't wait to play through that beautiful game.

It's too bad you didn't jump on this game when Target had it at that exact price last year for their black Friday sale which was not even a month after it's initial release. That's when I jumped on it. You could've been playing this awesome game almost a whole year sooner. :)

Nice thanks op I am def picking up Twilight Princess! Is this a good deal for SSBB? I might pick that up as well.
Yeah, I'd say it's a good deal for SSBB.

I'm a new wii owner... I'm not sure if I should get SSBB or Super Mario Galaxy. I'll probably end up having both at some point, but which should be the "must play first" out of the two? Or are both of them equally good? Thanks!!

Personally I'd recommend Super Mario Galaxy out of those two, but then I've never been as partial to the Smash Bros. series as a lot of people seem to be.
I'd second on getting SMG first if you can't get both.

I probably didn't have cash at the time. :(
I'm glad you got in on that deal, though.

I'd say they're equally good (I've only played a few hours of Galaxy before, but those hours were orgasmic). It really depends on if you're more interested in a single-player or multi-player experience.

Thanks for the suggestions!! I'm going to ordered Super Mario Galaxy. I'll probably pick up SSBB sometime, but just not today. With the holidays around the corner (and more deals), it's getting difficult to choose between games, and stay within a monthly budget.

or how about the $25 gift card + wii remote glove + coin when you bought it at TRU on launch day?
that was the best deal in my opinion....

You should hit up the Toys R Us B2G1 free deal this weekend. That's a great way to catch up on games you need to get while maintaining your budget.

I wish Amazon.com did this all the time. Even though I still have to pay sales tax (which is pretty lame--do they have an outlet in my state or something?), I've got Amazon Prime and love to not have to go to the store.

I have both, but I'd recommend Galaxy first for a stronger first-person game. Brawl is best with a crowd, and if you've never played a SSB game before, it takes a little time to wrap your head around its fighting mechanics.
And if I hadn't already gotten Madden '09 Wii last night for $40, I'd be getting it off Amazon right now... ;)

I just snapped up SSBB...I donated my copy to a buddy of mine who had his Wii, his Wavebird receivers, and his copy of SSBB stolen. So his girlfriend spent her whole paycheck on a used Wii that just so happened to have a fairly comprehensive SSBB save file on it, and I managed to get him a Wavebird reciever from Ebay. And, since my backlog is TREMENDOUS, I gave him my copy of SSBB. He told me he couldn't accept it, so I told him that he could just borrow it until I ask for it back. ;)

Yeah, he seems to think so too.:)
I just feel like if I were in his shoes, and he had the means, he would have done the same for me. That's how I live my life, man. Just trying to spread good karma around as much as I can.:bouncy:
But yeah, I've been waiting for a good deal on it that wasn't used or taxed. This is probably the best I'll get it for a while methinks.
