my hl2 cant install on XP service pack 3

the day started out with a car crash, & i taught things cant get any worse but thanks to my luck IT DID! I tried to install hl2 several time confused and frustrated it left me!

Hmm, never heard of error code "jdkhwkjdfdfhsfijkh fuck!!!!(Insert two smiles)". Might want to give us a better error code next time. That would be helpful.

do what oktoberfest said, just download steam for free and make sure your account has the games you want activated on your accout and just install it that way.

You could try uninstalling SP3, installing HL2, then reinstalling SP3. I know it plays fine on my PC with SP3, but I also installed it before I added SP3.
