I'm kind of tempted. I'm not sure. It sounds like a really lame LE except for the fact it's a steelbook. If I get a friend to go in with me, a little over 50 bucks a person.

IIRC, they temporarily charge you to make sure you have the money (then put it back in a couple days), and when the game ships, the charge you.

I'm 90% sure that's how it was last year when I preordered NBA 2K8 and Bioshock from them.

Works. Tried it on Fallout 3 Special Edition. I got it for 68.XX because there is apparently free shipping for any of the Fallout games.

i tried to have my local bb price match the cc $10 gift card offer and it was a no go. but you might have better luck than me if at your bb. i might pre order from tru gears 2 CE for $53 might be better than a rc tank that i will never use for $75

Thats exactly what i ordered. Canceled my Survival Edition from amazon, since i decided it wasn't worth the extra money. With shipping and sales tax i still ended up saving a good chunk of money on the 2.

This turns out to be a better deal than the $10 GC deal from CC.

If I read the order confirmation correctly, they will be shipped out separately instead of waiting for GoW to come out. Nice.
