Calm down, dude -- it's a personal preference, anyways. IMHO, it's highway robbery. I get some people like the extra swag, but I'm not sure any of those items -- beyond the CD soundtrack -- is worth the money.

Listen, I'm not knocking the items; if you want them, go for it, but I just think what's offered here is awfully small compared to the money. I would have preferred they include some behind the scenes DVDs and small action figurines (like Nintendo did with OoT) rather than a calendar and a plush doll, but that's me.

And remember I said I'm happy to see Atlus offering these items -- just b/c I don't like this one doesn't mean I'm against the notion of Atlus working with Amazon to make these things available to us :-)

Side A, which is included with the game, contains all of the tracks that are on the first disc of the OST.
Side B, which is included with the Social Link Expansion Pack, contains all of the tracks from the second disc of the OST.

I was guessing that we would only be getting a small selection of the soundtrack on either of the discs, so this is pretty great that we'll be getting the full OST between the two.

The only thing that would make it better is if we get a case that has two CD slots, so that we can stick the CD that comes with the game in it also, instead of keeping it in the game's case.

That's almost definitely what it means; Atlus is no EA so it's likely it wants to minimize production waste. Odds are they'll gauge interest and see how many pre-orders come through, make that many and a few more and leave it at that.

For what it's worth, it's still limited.

Ya after paying fees and stuff your probally looking at a $15-$20 profit. So the question is do you want the Social Pack goodies or the extra $20 or so? Now dont get me wrong if Atlus doesnt make more of these you will see this balloon to $100-$150 probably....but that's an if. Personally when I get mine for Christmas(my fiancee made damn sure her mom got it for me to keep me from buying it myself)I will probably leave if sealed for a few months and see what happens.

no 200 page artbook with p4 social link expansion pack. It may or may not be included with orders for the game persona 4 now thats its no longer a preorder (will depend amazon's left over stock for preorders).

If you just want the sound track, you can buy the Japanese OST. The only difference between the two would be that this only includes one of the disc. The other disc would be the one included with the game. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm getting this info from comparing the playlists.

So now that this has been out for a little it what are you guys thinking the rarity will be long term? I was thinking it wouldnt be great and I am still sticking to that even though its going for $100+ on ebay. I kind of wish I had mine already(fiancees mom got me one for christmas). Think I would sell it for the $100-$150 in hopes that these get rereleased later....but hell even if they didnt for $100-$150 its hard to justify holding on to a Teddie, Calendar and T Shirt.

Agreed on the first count. Stuffed animals and shirts never appreciate in value, especially since they start to deteriorate quickly over time. Not sure a soundtrack and an expired calendar will maintain much value either.

The Kuma plushie is nice, T-shirt will be nice, the soundtrack side b is good too, and the calander is pretty good too, I don't use calanders much, but I think this one has all the Japanese holidays on the calander so that's neat.
