Well, it’s not a laptop exactly, but an Xbox 360 built inside of a Pelican case (http://benheck.com/10-08-2008/sneak-peak-pelican-case-xbox-360-designed-for-overseas-active-service-use). After receiving several requests for a similar device for people stationed overseas, he finally decided to try it out. The goal is to get all the components into the case so that the watertight seals are intact. It’s only partially complete right now and he notes that one of the major hurdles will be converting the DVD drive to top loading. The light ring and USB ports will probably be moved to the top surface, and the hard drive will be made removable.

Awesome...though i wonder how he will keep this from overheating without drilling holes in the briefcase.

Pretty cool other than RROD in an hour of playing time he'll get. Not to mention, he won't be able to get it fixed since he tampered with it.

He does, you do, I do... How does that stop the Xbox from getting RROD seeing as its laying in a box with no room to ventilate.

Maybe he does the preventive measures we can all do; bigger fans, Artic Silver 5 recoat, new x-clamp, etc.
Not to mention, the mod isn't done, and it has to be open to be played.

he always does. part of voiding the warranty is to add fixes... he has the technology. he can make it better... or something

one big move he already pointed out is to take the DVD drive off the GPU to allow better airflow for the greatest heat source, will be nice to see the finished product
