I got an email from Game Crazy today about a sale on old school games starting Saturday, Sept. 4'th. All NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, N64, Playstation, and Dreamcast games will be buy 2 get 1 free.
No MVP membership is required.
It seems pretty nice, even though some of their older stuff (especially Playstation and N64) tends to be overpriced. Still, I'll probably take advantage of this sale and pick up some stuff, and I'm sure several CAGs will too.
Edit: All three games must be for the same system.

is this a YMMV?!?! or nationwide. i think its only for MVP cardholders too.

The email I got didn't mention an MVP membership anywhere, so I'm assuming it's for everyone.
And since this email was sent to anyone who signed up for Gamecrazy's newsletter, I'm assuming the sale will be nationwide as well.

oh this is good.. i hope my gamecrazy has something.. it sucked i missed one of their tournaments for mk:dd and no one even showed up but im going to check if the deal out on sat then

my gamecrazy has a good selection of games.. and i just bought the MVP card 3 weeks ago. woot!
and does this count for used old school accessories?

My gamecrazy has the best selection of scratched discs available. I think someone went through there with a brillo pad and scratched every used game. They really suck , probably the worst store on the planet.

I stopped by my GameCrazy on Sunday cause it's only a mile away (a little farther there's a GameStop! oo!). But the selection was quite crap. More than one game and VERY limited. Considering I've only bought two used games from GameCrazy this summer while I bought more from GameStop. Good sale, if there was a good collection. I guess I didn't have a more specific idea of what I wanted to look for, oh well.

That makes the whole deal garbage, its hard to find 3 good games with their selection for the same system at a good price
