Ended up getting the lone Wii Points card they had in stock and one of the last two Socom with the Headsets and the memory card adapter. Can't believe those were going for like $30+ when the PS3 first came out.

Rockville/Bethesda, MD CC didn't have any points cards that I could ID, although the store is looking pretty crap-tacular now. Had some guides, and I did spot what looked like refurbed 360 HDDs and controllers boxed together, but who knows what could be going on in that box. A decent amount of Rock Band/GHWT/GH bundles were still on the floor, and I did spot some DSes and PS2s around, but I got out of there before I could really take a look around. It was rather depressing. I was going to talk to one of the workers, but they all looked so downtrodden and melancholy I couldn't bring myself to even ask a simple question.

Those boxes are great deals, especially if you don't have a HD for the 360 already. You can get them less than 40 and its a controller and a 20gig HD.

I'm more pissed off at the fact when I get the 360 in early 2006 only had a 90 day warranty and when it broke down, they tried to charge 250 to repair it and then proceeded to blame ME for it breaking down stating that their hardware was stable. THAT is what pisses me off more then the nickel and diming.

They're both great consoles in all honesty, but Microsoft until they were forced to extend warranties treated their customers like ABSOLUTE SHIT.

And my circuit city is picked clean. The best thing I could find was NBA Homecourt for 9.99. I'm sure someone already bit on that deal.

Wont deny 360s are the most faulty of the 3 systems and that there customer support sucks..........but.....they do still have the bigger selection of gems and there LIVE system is set up more user friendly and more widely used. I'm sadly on my 3rd 360 since launch..but Microsoft keeps drawing me back in.

Came back from the West Covina, CA Circuit City. I figure I'll go once every two weeks to see how much they've dropped.

And yeah, games are currently 20% off, down from 10% off two weeks ago. Still not enough of a discount for me, though. Any way, I was really hoping to find some PSN cards, but no luck. They still had a bunch of Xbox cards though.

Yeah, definitely not worth it yet, considering they still sell stuff at MSRP or higher. I wanted to pick up Silent Hill Homecoming, but it was $60 with 20% off, whereas Best BUy/GameStop/Wal-Mart have it for $40.

I did see strategy guides 40% off at my CC today though. Most of the guides were gone, but I saw Oblivion GOTY edition, Legend of Zelda, and Dead Space. I guess they'd be worth grabbing if they discount them 60% or so, but not really gonna bite till that.

My store looked pretty barren in most of its gaming areas though. Almost every accessory for Wii was gone save remote skins/gloves, HD component cables for PS3, and a faceplate or two for the 360.

I dunno if this is the right place to ask...but my local CC has been cleared out of all Xbox Accessories :(

Any way someone could pick me up a 1600 MSP Card and I would pay whatever you paid for it through Paypal? :D

I would even cover the tax you paid. I'd appreciate it very very much :)

Went to the Hollywood Circuit City and games were 20% off, accessories 30%, and many of the older titles had been marked down considerably (Condemned 9.99, Lost Planet 15.99, Alone in the Dark 7.99). It looked a bit like an apocaplyse with merchandise strewn everywhere and only half of it had price tags. I always hate going into these out-of-business sales because the atmosphere is so somber.

The big titles were gone, but I did pick up Silent Hill Homecoming & Lost Planet cause they were ridiculously cheap and we're OOS in our store.

Is it just me, or does the main character in Silent Hill: Homecoming look like Nick Lachey?????

What system was the $7.99 Alone in the Dark for?

The one in Norwalk CT is still full of merchandise. No MS point cards, all the Guitar Hero/Rock Band demos have broken instruments, and the games are only 20% off. I give it about a month before I try again.

Hahahaha!:applause:

Ahem! Can anyone else confirm the 20% discount on games at their CC? The one in Tustin, CA doesn't seem to have it, well, that I'm aware of at least.

In Hollywood, they didn't have a sign up saying there was a 20% off discount on games, but the guy at the register confirmed that there was.

Just to echo in, the selection was surprisingly decent. Saw way too many GH/RB bundles, but there was a lot of fallout 3's, mirror's edge, and the like. I do believe that the cards (points and live) are either not with the rest of the accessories or they are not in the store at all. At 20%, its not really worth actually buying just yet. But with what looks like an active restocking, the true CAGs could be nicely rewarded in the next couple of weeks.

I scored at the CC in Keller, TX:

1. PS3 dual shock controller for $38.xx
2. F.E.A.R. (360) for $12.xx
3. 1600 points card for $13.99

I saw a lady grabbing all the remaining 3 month xbox live cards which were selling for $12.xx. She got 4 cards I think which is totally stupid because:

4 cards (1 year of live) at $12.xx = $50.xx
12 months card at amazon = $38.99

Total FAIL!!!

Yah I just got back from the Tustin, CA CC, and can confirm that all games are 20% off. However, as some one has mentioned already, most of the "big" or "newer" titles are taken already. The only game I saw that is kind of new is Lord of the Rings: Conquest, which is still $48 after the 20% discount.

The Lynnwood, WA location is still packed with stuff and since they're the biggest selling store in the region (according my brother who is a supervisor) they still get shipments from the warehouses and things from other locations transferred to them. Their discounts are just like everyone else:

20% off games (30% off used games)
30% accessories
25% off music/DVDs
40% off car audio
10% off computers/laptops

They had about two hundred MS 1600 points cards (literally, they took up an entire aisle) at 30% off. I picked up five, some of which I'll give to my brothers for their upcoming birthdays.

Finally bit on a WoW time card and WotLK for 20% each ... not the greatest deal, but could have been worse. The time card was worth it, and it was the last WotLK copy I've seen at local SJ, CA stores that hadn't been tampered with. Total came out to around $60 after tax ... I'm still kicking myself for not getting WotLK when it was $25 on Amazon, but ah well ...

Went to the store in Brookfield,WI . Place was a zoo for deals being scarce . No point cards to be seen (Bubble or loose).

They had 10 PS3 yesterday at 430. By 445, 7 of them were gone and I saw a couple people looking at the remaining 3.

I was debating with my friend whether I should buy a PS3 but I was going to leave and come back the next morning if I really wanted to buy it and then buy it then. I am glad I held onto mine because of that.

They had a lot of great games yesterday but at 20% off, I don't think I will bite on it just yet. They will have me coming back at 40% off though. They also had a bunch of 360's left. Probably 10 Arcade style and at least 30 Pro's. They also had a ton of Guitar Hero and Rock Bands. Like I said, they will have me back at 40% off because I want Guitar Hero for my new PS3 :)

I got lucky last weekend over in the Albany, NY CC when I went looking for some Wii Points cards. Their Wii accessory section was pretty much picked clean...aside from the nunchuck sleeves/casings in two wooden bins in that section and even their Wii game section was sorted through pretty well. I saw no Wii Points cards after looking everywhere in the section but got lucky when my girlfriend and I were about to leave and I saw a Wii Points card on the bottom of an end cap...snatched it up, brought it up front and paid 15.11 after tax, which I believe adds up to about 30% off over there.

I'm hoping more accessories will come, so I will check them out tomorrow or early in the week just to check for some more points cards.

Went to Glen Allen CC in VA looking for MS cards, had NONE, but spotted about 10-12 controller/hard drive bundles (CC originally sold them to people that bought the 360 Arcades...now they're just trying to get rid of them). The bundle includes a refurb wireless controller with batteries (mine looks brand new) and a refurb hard drive (the shiny plastic at the top is a bit scratched, but it works fine) for a mere 30 bucks after 30% off. I would have snagged another one, but I don't need anymore controllers.

No, but Lynnwood (WA) was a total zoo. The parking lot was full and they were running out of spots to park so people were parking along the store in the fire zones. If a traffic cop were to stop by he'd be having a field day.

The CC in Rockford, Illinois was almost worth the trip today. All the video games were 20% off and they still had good games worth buying! I saw tons of copies of Gears Of War 2, Left 4 Dead, Resistance 2, Fallout 3. They even had PS3 and PC Collector's Editions of Fallout 3 left.

Though, 20% off still isn't that good of a discount, I picked up the last copy of Mercenaries 2 (with discounts it was $21) and my brother picked up Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows for $35 and Lego Batman for $35. Not too bad, I'll visit again in a week or two and hope games are at least 30-40% off by that time.

All the accessories for systems were sold out however, point cards as well.

I saw a handful of Wiis tonight. I guess $199 plus tax is as good a price as one can get on this for the forseeable future, but I still don't know what I would do with it other than entertain people at parties who are scared of the 360 and PS2. I guess I should try Mario this and Mario that. I'm open to suggestions.

And speaking of PS2s, still haven't see a single one at a CC. Are they that popular, or did Sony just cut them off when CC couldn't pay their bills? Although they still have PS3s.

Also, the store had a sign to the effect of "new shipments daily." I'm skeptical of that, but I do believe that they are being restocked from time to time.

I haven't read through this but I thought I would post this as a heads up...since they are clearing out their warehouses and distribution centers, they are shipping ALL video games to the stores.

I work at one and I work with the games and we got in about 12 boxes of games the other day. Most are trash, old xbox games, copies of Madden 06, stuff like that. But I found some good out of print stuff like copies of Super Princess Peach and Tetris for the DS. Also got a copy of Wario Ware Smooth Moves for about $13. All these games are clearance prices, all less than $20 and then you get 20% off right now. There are some great deals to find if you have the patience to sift through all the crap (and there is a lot of crap) or if you get first dibs on everything like me. I picked up almost 30 games for about $300, hoping to double that after I sell them all.

On friday, my buddy and I saw 2 PS3's for $340 including tax. He didn't know how much he had in his bank account, and I needed to transfer some money. He called and they had some in stock, and when we went there again, sold out. SO pissed at myself. On the flip-side, scored AC:CF and Wii Speak for $65, and GTA4 Strategy Guide for $12. Last Wii Speak in stock.

It's been mentioned earlier in here, but rumor has it that games and consoles might hit 30% by thursday? Anyone have a clue as to whether this is legit or not? Would love to score a PS3 at under $300.

Hi Gantt,

Get the Wii while you can. They're worth their weight in gold (and are way more reliable then its console counterparts... not to say PS3/360 aren't awesome in their own right). I'd highly suggest grabbing games like Resident Evil 4, Rock Band II (I is okay, but II has more variety if you ask me, music and gamewise), Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Super Paper Mario, Mario Galaxy, and Metroid (okay, so "Mario this and Mario that" is pretty on the mark :) ).

I do wonder what happend to PS2... maybe they're hiding somewhere? Over at the CC by where I live, you have to ask for some of their goods, and find an associate to track it down. If not, I'd understand why they ditched the PS2.

They do have new shipments. The trick however, is to make sure that you get there in the morning, as early as possible. I visited one morning and saw several large grey bins... I thought it was more stuff to sift through, but to my surprise, it was all iPods and PS3 games.

Good luck in your bargain hunting!!

PS3's are going fast guys... I'd highly suggest picking one up the moment you see it (I went to the CC in Riverside-- though they said there was four in the store, they only found one -- an 80 gB one -- which I picked up for about $344. It was $319 with tax (at 7.75%).

Eh, Dell deal with EPP is still better.

It's $30 over in Riverside, CA. I just came back from grabbing whatever I could find for a good deal from CC... I haven't seen them anywhere online (though simple Google Searches display $15 amounts!)

Eh, if you want it, might as well get it. If not, eBay it up.

Sorry I never replied to this sooner... nope, they're still in business over there.

HOWEVER, they're already putting pieces of furniture up for sale!

Wonder how long they'll be there for (latest, obviously, is 3/21).

Only thing I could relate this to is Best Buy's Reward Zone program. You get 10% coupons in the mail about once a month and for like every $100 you spend in the store you get like a coupon for $5 sent to you in the mail that you can use on anything in the store. It's not a bad deal since its free to sign up.

:)

Yep, I signed up with them (even got a cred. card), but I *never* get anything in the mail or online.

They owe me like $65 in coupons then; I've purchased a lot, especially since I bought a PC, laptop, a console, and RockBand from them last year!!

Just a heads up about World of Warcraft prepaid cards. They work fine and all, but I've been to three stores where some boxes are ripped open and the cards have been stolen.

This all might be common sense, but it's worth pointing out. The problem is that it's a plastic card inside a normal cardboard box that most PC games come in. It's not a sealed plastic DVD case that they use for cards for games such as Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, LOTRO. Those will be more obvious that someone tampered with them.

At the first store I went to, I opened the already torn box to double check and it was missing. So I chose the sealed ones, shaking them up to make sure. Even that was kinda like going on blind faith. So even with the sealed ones, they've been sitting on the shelf for so long that I peeled the tape off easily without ripping away any part of the box. Someone could just reseal it after taking the card.

So at the next store, I told the girl at the register that I intend to pay for them but just need to double check if the card is in there. I showed her one of the torn up boxes and she called over a manager. He said it was ok. So I opened the box, showed them the card and bought it.

Yep, so true ... I found one last week that didn't have a seal on the bottom and asked an associate if he could open it to check the contents. He was very helpful and did ... nothing inside but the trial codes. So I went back to the same CC today ... and I swear, they put the same damn box back on the shelf.

I found another one that looked slightly more intact, but I was still worried and asked the chick at the register if we could open it prior to buying it, explaining my reasoning ... and she said "No, we can't open it before you buy it." So I said, well can I buy it, open it here and then return it if there's nothing inside? And she replies "No, you can't return it ... that's one of the risks of a liquidation."

I was like WTF, but decided to buy it anyway and luckily there was a card inside. Normally I'd be critical of the cashier ... except that she's going to lose her job in a month and she had a streak of dyed blue hair which made her rather hot. But yeah, buyer beware regarding the time cards or anything with a code for that matter ...

You making sure to give them your reward zone info when buying stuff? They usually ask you beforehand. I'd check the reward zone site and message customer service. I dont know the site off hand since I never had problems with my Reward Zone membership. i dont even have my card anymore and they still let me have my reward zone membership. Just have to give them my phone number each time I buy something.

Went in for what is probably my last time, only to use up the $20 in Reward Certificates that I received on Thursday, which by the way I was able to successfully use without any issue.

I had planned to pick up a PS3 or Wii game, and they all were 20% and there was still a pretty good selection.

I walked by the PC game section and noticed the Command & Conquer 3 Limited Edition that contains both the original game and the expansion pack, Kane's Wrath. It was unlabeled, but I had remembered it being listed for $39.99 previously. I had been wanting this, so I decided to get it. Imagine my surprise when it rang up for $23.97.

Thanx for the heads up. I was thinking of picking a few up if they get more discounted. Did you get them for 20% off?

Yes, which came out to $23.99 plus tax. It's still $13.xx per month but I had some CC Reward certificates. Your best bet is 30% off, which comes out to about $11.50 per month depending on your tax rate.

When the first few stores closed last year, I tried to wait it out until 40% but they were gone. 30% off seems reasonable enough.

I found another one that looked slightly more intact, but I was still worried and asked the chick at the register if we could open it prior to buying it, explaining my reasoning ... and she said "No, we can't open it before you buy it." Not sure I'd wait much longer on the PS3. 20% is good enough for people and that's a better deal than what you'd find at Dell. Given the rumors of a price drop in April, it's a tough decision to make.

Got back from the Culver City Circuit City (aka the CCCC). Most on-the-floor games were wiped, but they have most new releases for PS3/360/Wii encased at 20% off. Didn't bite on anything. Didn't buy any movies or music, either. All-in-all pretty subdued there -- almost like a normal shopping day. Would've been nice to have more prices on things, though: Who wants to bring a digital voice recorder or Wii game (Order Up) up to their lone register just to find out how much it costs?

If/when it gets 30% off games, though, I'll be snagging Gears 2 and Resistance 2, among others -- even if I barely played part one of either series.

Can anyone with the 20%-50% reduction in their store see if the digital cameras are 30% yet?

I'm waiting for that to get a Canon 40D, so I can sell the lens on Ebay(already have the same lense for my Digital Rebel) and end up with a $600 40D. :D

The discount should have went up to 25% for digital cameras. That's what it is at my store as of today.

Fallout 3 collectors ed. is $60 at CC?

Yes. The tag said 79.99, but the discount was based off 59.99. The final amount was 47.99 and the slip said "PS3 FALLOUT 3CE". I got the last one on the floor, but they may have more in the back. That's where the sales rep got my Gears 2. It doesn't hurt to ask what they have in the back.

I went to Henrietta CC on Wednesday and they had a ton of 360's. A lot of Elites and Arcades, wasn't really looking for the Pro's. I didn't look at the Greece games section though. I went there on friday no accessories, but they couldve had some in. Greece tends to keep their stuff in the back. Henrietta had their stuff on the floor that's probaly why I saw them. I was also at Henrietta on Monday, and it looked like no systems were bought when I went back on Wednesday. I think people were just going for the DS and PS3.

I was there yesterday and only saw a bunch of Elites with build dates of 2/29/08 and they had quite a lot of games left. Also, went the Victor CC and they had some games, but no 360 accessories to speak of.

I think it is 30% of used. I went and took a used copy of VF5 up ($29.99) and it rang up 20.99 (I ended up getting a new copy priced 19.96 for 15.96 instead)

Considering Target sells VF5 for PS3 or 360 for $19.99 I can't believe they're charging $29.99 used.

Damn I guess they really went and got those arcades. I really have no desire for those old ass elites lol. I'll probaly stop by Henrietta tomorrow and ask if any new arcades or accessories are coming in. Btw did you happen to see anything good for the Wii or PS3 at the Victor store? I wouldn't say all the TV deals were ripoffs. A 42" LG and 37" Samsung (both LCD 720p) were both $719.99 after 25% off. The cheapest I could find these TV's were $799 off Amazon, so not too shabby.

The only thing I am unsure of is whether I should buy a TV from CC to begin with - how will I get a service/repair plan on it?

You can still get an extended warranty, since those are covered through a third party. Even if you don't get one of those, you're still covered by the standard manufacturer warranty.

The only thing you really lose out on is the ability to return it to Circuit City.

Thanks for the advice. So far the 360 (Falcon) hasn't had any issues (knock on plastic). I have RE4 for PS2 and just picked up RB2 for 360 at Micro Center; would the experience be that much better on a Wii? So I'm back to, do I want a Mario console?

As for the PS2, I've just been eyeballing the available consoles they keep behind the counter, but haven't asked about availability: it's not at my price point yet.

Rock Band experience on the Wii would fail in comparison to the 360 or PS3. No dlc. Thats one of Rock Band's biggest selling points. Hundreds of songs at your disposal. If you get the Wii version youll only get like 84 songs. Plus I'm sure the online community for Rock Band on the 360 is way more popular then the Wii's online community.

Went to the Bellevue, WA CC on Saturday. Lots of people in the store and a steady stream of people buying a few items at a time, but I think most people knew there weren't many good deals. Got to use up a gift card (whew) to get a DualShock 3 and nothing else. It looked like they had a ton of Xbox Live cards behind the counter -- don't know if it's because they restocked, aren't on sale, or that people in MS's own backyard couldn't care to pay for online. :D

10-20% A TV YOU CANNOT RETURN IS NOT A DEAL! I can't believe some of you think it is. It's all math! Best Buy often has the same TV's on sale and with promotional financing AND if you get it home and it doesn't work 100% or you change your mind, you can return it. Cannot do that at Circuit City.

Also, people buying Guitar Hero/Rock Band stuff for 10% off is sad too. That stuff breaks all the time. Nice to save 10% and again, not be able to return it. People think it's a 'deal'...it's not at all. Hell, if I buy from Amazon AT REG PRICE I avoid 6% sales tax, get free shipping, and have a return policy...at CC, 10% off means I still then pay tax and don't get a return policy...crap!

From what I've been hearing at my store, apparently some of the stores are going to be closing as early as next week. They will then ship those stores' inventory to other stores, which will stay open until the end of the liquidation.

They don't have to explain.

So they can layoff Clogger and his cohorts early and save money by combining stores together.

still nothing good in Columbia SC Harbison STORE, unless you think conan @ 19.99 -20% is good LOL or clearanced 299$ hdmi cables is good deal. My CC still has a nice collection of PC games untouched because as little as PC games normally sell who will buy SPORE at 59.99 - 10%, I even asked if the signage was correct for 10% off software. I overheard the liquidators telling the CC employee that the signage of was XXX$ now XXX$ is wrong like they can't put the Was cost on it. Looks like only the BIGGEST Named games for consoles have sold, guess Tombraider underworld for 59.99-20% isn't a good deal ..... atleast not to me, I'll wait and get it used at eb for the 360 used before CC liquidates it at a good price...

I had gone to pick up some stuff over the weekend (C&C Red Alert 3 and a portable hard drive), just because it was just about what I'd pay for them on Amazon. Might've been a dollar or two difference, but it's worth not waiting for them to ship.

Anyway, my store did this awful thing where they moved all the games to another part of the store. That's awful because though they kept them together by system, they completely jumbled them up in the respective areas. So, though it should've been 20 seconds to determine if they had C&C alphabetically, it took upwards of 5 minutes since I had to look through the entire aisle rack by rack. That was great.

It made me worry that this store is going faster than others though, since it appeared they cleared out the stockroom to put games on the floor. I made that assumption because of the Gears2 CE that hadn't previously been there and the (seriously) 35 copies of GH: Aerosmith 360.

I just picked up Phoenix Wright: Justice For All for $8.45 including tax. It was originally priced at $15 but in system it must be at $10 then a 20% discount on that also.

I must be lucky went to my CC about 4 days ago and they had every new game for the ps3 and 360, wii was cleaned out I talked to one of the guys working there and they had a truck full of games that had to be unloaded still. I will Prob. go back when games hit 40% off to grab a few. My store is in Raleigh NC. the one on capital Blvd. across from the mall.

Thanks for the heads up  I'm in Chapel Hill and the closest one on 15/501 has a few games, but almost all horrid. I have a friend going to NC State as well, so he may enjoy that information.

Only thing I saw in Durham's CC were 360 faceplates, Wii remote jackets, and some still-overpriced-with-discount PS3 component cables.

Champaign, IL has 25% off DVDs & CDs, 20% off video games, and what not. They did make a big error in sending out their promo email thing/going out of business ad. The ad said all car audio/video was 40% off. When I walked in there tonight, there was a handwritten sign that said only speakers were 40% off and that amplifiers, head units, GPS, and other accessories were only 20%.

Like someone said before me, Circuit City manages to fail even when failing.

You know, it would be nice if they'd spread the wealth a bit on these point cards. I'm in the Buffalo area and I went to two CCs this past week or so and there were not any 360 accessories to be seen. Tons of Wii stuff, but even that was crap. Grr.

You know, Im pretty sure its just easier for them to send a huge shipment to one single store than to send out 100 smaller shipments equally to all. That being said, I wish my CC was one of the luckier stores, its all luck in the end, may it be finding the items or the store having the stock of them sent to it

Our store in Madison Heights, MI is sending out half a million dollars worth of inventory today :( 75% of our TV's, a TON of DVD's and games, a lot of high-ticket items. Apparently the Michigan market isn't doing very well during this liquidation, which is why we're sending out a bunch of stuff.

Way to kick 'em while their down.

I went to my local cc last night and it did look like they got more stuff in, but it had already been snatched. They definitely got more games in and a couple more accessories, but they were crappy ones like Wii Fit towels. It's as if I have to camp out there to actually get the good stuff.

I don't know, I didn't look. The CC out by the Galeria was picked over more than the one on NFB, though.

I think when I go back to see what's left with deeper discounts, I'll hit up NFB and forget the other one.

Are there any point cards at the Rochester stores? I'm headed there this weekend. If they're well stocked, I might stop in at one of them.

By the way, if you are stuck with unactivated cards(eg. 800 MS Points, or iTunes, et cetera) then take them back with the receipt. You have a good chance of getting your money back, since the people at the one I went to seemed to know of the problem, and they gave me my money back with no questions at all.

We had a news bit this morning that Consumer Reports is warning about the CC clearance, and that prices jacked up to MSRP and higher when the liquidation took hold. They're saying that with a number of items they looked at, it might be cheaper or the same price at Best Buy.

No surprise there. :dunce:

I just checked the BB website, and I got the two memory cards at CC for about half the BB price, so I found a good deal there. :)

Both of the CF cards were marked as clearance, and then I got the discount on top of that. :)

My local CC had gotten in a big shipment of Wii consoles and controllers that people grabbed up last week. I think it was $224 for the Wii. Best price I've ever seen.

I also talked to an employee that said she had a job for 3 months. So I'm guessing this closeout will continue to April?

I was worried that I wouldn't get a refund but I tried anyways. The girl that was working at customer service knew of the problem with MS Points and Itunes cards. I had bought 1 MS 800 card with 4 prepackaged Wii point cards. She went to give me a refund for the MS point card but it wouldn't return it so she ended up giving me a refund for one of the Wii cards. I made $4 returning the useless card. I am glad that I tried the card before CC closed.:D

So are there any pre-activated points cards BESIDES the 'bubble wrapped' Xbox cards? I'm going to go tonight, and might also pick up Playstation or Wii cards if they were cheap enough.

The most retarded ones are no more jeans on weekends and the guy checking receipts isn't allowed to sit down anymore.

That's retarded...especially given that the store's closing, so whatever stupid reason they have for forcing people to stand shouldn't even matter. (It pisses me off so much that most stores force employees to randomly stand for no reason when they could be sitting if they want to.)

Glad they did that warning. Yeah, it was pathetic when I went there a couple of weeks ago. You didn't even have to go to Amazon or Newegg to destroy their 'clearance' prices, you could just drive down the street to Best Buy or American.

Well Circuit city in SanPatricio Plaza PR. Has the entire CD/DVD/Videogame section fenced in and they are not selling them anymore (Even though i could see boxes full of videgames/GHkits ect). Completely disapointing. We only had a week at 20 percent off too. So i wasnt able to get anything... The rest of the store will continue the liquidation for whatever reason.. This liquidation sale has been awfull here. Hell the compusa sales were better.

Great, so all the Wii points things? I lost all my Wii download junk when my first Wii died, but for the price...well, maybe!

I should really stock up on 360 ones though. Too bad Playstation ones don't work too. I need to pick up Jumping Flash!.

Anyway, thanks!
