The CC I went to yesterday had almost every item marked up with a small discount. You would have still being paying more then you would at another store. No deals to be found at CC in Lewisville TX.

I went on Saturday to find my sister a new car stereo. They were so damn rude that we walked out. After asking to see 3 people's supervisor and having each one be more rude than the other. My sister had to rush me out before I fought the whole staff.

Chaos1232 brings up a good point, are the points cards discounted too? Ill brave the douche-baggery to get some points.

Well, it doesn't make it right, but from their point of view they really have nothing left to lose. I'd be pretty bitter about the whole ordeal, too.

Also looking for an answer to the points cards.

Yes they are, but CC will shave off the points you're saving. Each card is like a gift card so how much you spend will go towards the value.

PS. Read the first post with CC disclaimer and stop posting like an idiot.

This is interesting, and a little vague:

How much will merchandise be marked down, and can customers negotiate prices for the merchandise?

There will be clearance pricing, but specific discounts are not being announced. All sale prices are at the discretion of the liquidator. Prices are non-negotiable and all adjustments must be approved by the liquidator's on-site managers.
So, the prices are negotiable? I've read stories from this past holiday season where people were actually telling the store managers how much they were willing to pay for items, and the managers were approving the prices.

Go ahead, but remember back then the sales people were forced to being nice to you and now they've lost a job and can't get fired for being jerks.

I imagine they still can get fired "for being jerks." Right now they're guaranteed two months pay. If they get fired before that then they will lose out on that pay.

Went last night, all their desktops were sold out, most of their consoles, all their point cards. I saw an HD DVD 360 add-on, bu we all now how much those are worth. For the 10% most of the stuff isnt worth buying, but I did get some printer ink.

Your only good deal right now (like others have said), is products that are never on sale.
Most notably Apple.
Unfortunately, if discounts drop to 20%off next week, you can be sure that other sellers (ebayers etc) will buy them all up.

I am hoping there are some Microsoft points cards still available when it hits 20% off, but I doubt it.

Try not to be surprised by all the good stuff being gone quickly. A lot of re-sellers will jump at 10% off, and then sell the product for 10% over MSRP. It sounds crazy, but buyers do fall for it.

I just remembered something I might go back for, they had a sealed wavebird for gc for $20. There's some resalve/trading value in that!

A few other things and I'm sure its been posted their boxsets of dvd are super expensive, 34.99 for older Simpsons. I also considered buying a few collector's editions of Fallout 3 and Saints Row 2, but the 10% discount still doesn't make it worth it yet. I really wanted to get a flash drive or a small mp3 player but everything was either sold out (mp3 players) or too expensive flash drives. $30 for a 4gb?

i think cc is a ripoff only in cases where theyre taking stuff they discounted themselves, escalating it back up, and then lopping 10% off. but for video games specifically, especially consoles, 10% is better than 0%, considering video game sales arent like what they used to be.

But in my case they have a game that they normally sell for, say $49.99. They up it to the MSRP of $59.99 and gave no discount, (I have to admit though that some of the DVDs they were giving the discount on) as well as things not being raised back up, but not having a discount either.

So, they were taking things that they sold at their "Guaranteed Low Price" escalating up and not taking ANYTHING off. AND calling it a Clearance.
People were buying it up too, because they do not know any better.

The bottom-feeding liquidators will keep taking advantage of companies needing to quickly get rid of their inventory and keep feeding you crap, by making you think you are getting a deal when you are not.

Mid Rivers Mall store @ Mid Rivers Mall/70 & 370
Chesterfield store in Chesterfield Valley
Fairview Heights, IL store in Fairview Heights

Different discounts at different stores... I picked up ~7 360 points cards, 2 Wii points cards, and a PS3 DVD remote for 30% off at the Melbourne store... looks like others are anywhere from 10-30% for accessories. Much like everyone else, I decided to check out my local CC. It was like vultures to a slaughter there. Almost all the tv's were gone, games weren't reduced but 10% so I decided not to bother. Overall I think people are just swayed by "store closing" that they don't really think that they aren't getting that good of a deal. I am imagining that their discounts on tv's probably were better the week before last.

Wish I had known about the points cards I would have grabbed some. I saw they had a bunch but I figured they wouldn't reduce their prices if they had to activate them at the register or something.

YEP - YMMV when it comes to things like point cards. Remember, according to reports, there are 4 separate liquidation companies (maybe even more) running this liquidation, apparently breaking up the stores that each are handling by region.

So what may be true in Kentucky will not be true in Vermont or Cali.

According to various reports in this thread, some of the stores are treating the point cards as non-gaming accessories, as well as not even marking them down at all. At others, they appear to be 30% off. Just be prepared to be disappointed, if you do decide to brave the crowds and hit one of the stores...

I never get why people rush to buy store closing sale. The initial sale is never worth it. Plus with the fact that many items are cheaper before the liquidator mark it back to original MSRP + the initial closing sale.

Unfortunately by the time real deal 40%-60% comes around all of them are gone.

There is no such thing as circuit city anymore. It's a liquidating company.

False, Circuit City is still a regular electronic store in Canada. Only the United States chain is in liquidating effect.

The old CC prices were still in the computer system at the CC I went to today, including the clearance prices. My friend confirmed the same thing at the CC he went to in Orlando, FL. The discounts were manually entered at the register. I ended up picking up one game - Command And Destroy for the DS, marked $6.96. Now, the discount at this store was supposed to be 10% off games, but when the cashier scanned the game, she manually changed the price to $4.49, which was a lot more than 10% off. I didn't say anything, but I'm heading back there tomorrow to see if I can get this huge discount on any other games. Not to mention I want to scan Mushroom Men for the Wii for the outside shot it is scanning for $29.99 as it was listed in the weekly ad. I can hope, right?

No cause they have to be activated at the register so it's 10%, but like the MS point cards that are in the hard plastic clamshells, they dont need to be activated and considered an "accessory" in CC's world so it's 30% off.

Ay, chihuahua...how many times is this question going to be asked? At least 3 times per page, apparently, LOL!

Please, for the love of all that is holy, can we update the OP to reflect that YMMV when it comes to the XBL, Wii, and PSN point cards as far as this liquidation goes?

I.e. some users have reported getting them for 10% or even 30% off, while others have reported getting denied ANY discount on them at all since some employees/liquidators seem to be treating them as "gift cards" as opposed to "accessories".

So please, before anyone else asks, think of the childrenzzz!!! Especially on this MLK holiday, when we all should be hold hands and dancing around in circles and whatnot...

Fenton, MO had 30% off MOBILE accessories, cords, and furniture, 20% off DVD/BR/CD, and 10% off everything else except for ITunes gift cards, Netflix cards, and DirecTV.

All the game systems were sold except for 3 80GB PS3's. Video game section was still in decent shape. All CE's of games were set at $60 then the 10% off applied from there.

All the 360 1 year Live and 4000 MS Point cards were gone, still some 1 month/3 month Live cards and 1600 MS point cards. I needed a MS points card one so $2 off was fine by me.

There were still a TON of PSN cards so I'm hoping they stay until 20/30% off at least.

It's the same exact information that's been posted over and over again in this thread.

The piece is also old. Every Circuit City is closing so there isn't any way to find one that hasn't.

Only normal consumers wouldn't know that prices are marked back up to MSRP before the discounts are applied. Those of us who have traveled far and wide to closing sales before know better than to waste time with these 'liquidations' before the end of the sale.

Those are usually vendor owned and will be picked up by the vendor. I tried for one of those when Kmart was closing a lot.

I tried for one of the display model consoles and the kiosk to go with it at a Toys R Us liquidation in Philly area about two years ago. But they wanted as much a brand new console for the kiosk and the beat up, likely to DRE system within it. So I passed on that 'deal' and just bought a few guides I needed but couldn't find willing traders for on CAG.

Although, if you need some shelving, they usually blow that out pretty cheap once the store's inventory is done. You can get some pretty nice dvd/cd shelves that way.

@ InvaderZim: Did you leave any MS points cards in the Melbourne store? I'm going to check tomorrow. I'm going to miss CC... especially since they moved to the mall it was so much better.

They had a crap load of the 800 point cards. But, you need to get something else that they can take the extra $$$ off of because they could not take 30% off of the 800 point cards. I bought a PS3 DVD remote and they took the extra $$$ off of the remote.

Games-10% CD's DVD's BR-20% Cables-30% everything else was 10 percent also.

TONS of consoles left. Lots of Rockband GH WT, Aerosmith and III to be had for all systems. They even had a couple RB2's.

No luck with the MS Points cards in North Attleboro, MA.

The cashier was going to put the 4000 card through for 10% off at first. I mentioned that video game accessories for 30% off and she called her manager, who ended up saying that the points cards were excluded from the liquidation (so again, YMMV.) Not a huge deal as I didn't really need them, would have been nice to have an extra though.

I did grab Fable: The Lost Chapters for $7, as she put that through for 30% instead of 10%, so I guess it evened out in the end. :)

The Portland OR on 82nd one was crummy. Everything was 10% except for CD's and DVD's at 20%, couldn't find anything 30% off. To add to that, their prices on games movies and CD's were ridiculous, as if they'd never reduced the price on anything, so 10% off there was still more expensive than the normal price at any other retailer on nearly everything but the newest releases. Saddest part is how well it worked, the place was half cleaned out, and I actually overheard one of the employees saying how ridiculous it was that all these people thought they were getting good deals.

I think the worst deal I found on a game there was a Greatest Hits version of Final Fantasy XII for $30 (even after the discount still twice the price of GameStop).

kind of funny the Circuit City nearest me is part of a strip mall and a Media Replay was right next to it before but that went up for Liquidation as well like 4 years ago. Its been empty since. I picked up Lost Odyssey for $23.99 after 20% at the CC on Colonial in Orlando, FL (I missed getting it cheaper elsewhere). There wasn't much else worth getting, IMHO.

By the time games and such get to 30% off (and beyond) those shelves will have been picked clean by the throngs of sheeple lured in early by the word "liquidation".

I think it's for the best that they don't know any better. If that were the case, then they'd hoard what we consider to be deals and make it that much harder for us to get the games that we want.

The CC near me was actually fairly organized, which was surprising. The games were plentiful, so I'm going to hold off on that until bigger drops (most titles I'd be interested had about 8 copies each... so, yeah, no rush).

What disappointed me, however, was the complete decimation of the 360 accessories section. Literally, it was one remote, a camera, and two sets of cables. That's it. I asked an employee if they were 30% off (no sign), but apparently they were still 10%, which doesn't account for where in the hell everything went.

Regardless, it was kinda sad to be in there and realizing that it'd be gone in a few months. I was already in nostalgia mode anyway, since I had just seen the 'Final 10 Days' signs at KB. Oh, and in terms of CC... I can confirm that prices were being manually entered at my store, too. I ended up snagging a DVD set and a CD that were discounted to Amazon price, so the trip wasn't in vain.

There was probably about 20 people in their tops. It was snowing when I went in which was probably why there weren't too many people in there (if you've lived in RI or the surrounding MA areas you'll know that every time it snows people act like they've never seen it before) but I still don't think it'd be that crowded until the weekend.

My store also is only doing ads or the 10% not both :(

As for the point cards, some employees aren't doing them (like the itunes card) while other employees will do them at 10% off. 10% off isnt worth it to me.

Ditto on the cards.

The store nearest to me refused to give the 10% markdown on ANY of the cards.

The one on my way home from work was giving the 30% "accessories" markdown on them. I picked up 3 4000 point cards for about $35 a piece (the last 3) and a couple of 1600 point cards for $14 a piece (LOTS of those left).

STL CAGs: I just scoped out the St. Peters (Mid Rivers Mall) store.

Nothing too interesting-- games and accessories were both 10% off. Accessories were picked clean. The game sections didn't look like they'd been touched, except, oddly, the PSP section which looked a bit sparser than when I came in a couple weeks ago. The store was moderately more crowded than usual, but nothing remarkable.

Most interesting find was probably a clearanced copy of Rogue Galaxy for PS2 at $12.96. Definitely would have picked that up if I didn't have it already. Aside from that, there were jillions of copies of various fighting game anthologies and classic game compilations for PS2 and PSP in the $9.99-12.99 range. Those could get interesting when the liquidation has been going on a while longer. Other clearanced games that I noticed were Contra 4 and Donkey Conga. Aside from that, a bunch of predictable titles at MSRP.

I just scored Scene it? for $25 + tax for the 360. I was actually going to buy it at best buy for $49 sunday, glad i waited :)

That's not such a good deal. If you can find one at your Target, you can get the 4 remotes and the game for $14.95. That's how much I got mine for like a month ago, it's probably even less now.

Also $25 or lower at sears

I bought a Rock Band 2 guitar today. It was $54.99. With taxes, close to $60. There aren't many deals of Rock Band 2 guitars, so I decided to just go ahead seeing as it was the only unopened PS3 guitar there. I already have a World Tour guitar which I love and needed one for friends who come over.

Not the greatest deal, but something.

There was probably about 20 people in their tops. It was snowing when I went in which was probably why there weren't too many people in there (if you've lived in RI or the surrounding MA areas you'll know that every time it snows people act like they've never seen it before) but I still don't think it'd be that crowded until the weekend.

I say fuck snow, its not stopping me from going places. Maybe a hour or so and you're done shoveling/blowing. Yeah I live in Woonsocket.

Really depends which Scene It he picked up. You probally got the old Lights Camera Action game for $14.99 at target while he picked up the new Box office Smash. I could be wrong though.

Yep, no deals.
I even heard middle aged people talking about how they just raised the prices and marked it as everything being a percentage off.

I heard 3 sets of people speak of this as I cruised my CC.

If old people are that smart, then I hope us young adults were just as aware; not a single deal to be had in Redlands, California.

I did get a $60 cd rack that holds 464, but only because I was in desperate need and didnt care where I got it.

Please tell me you were joking. CC is now being run by the liquidators so the prices are 10% off the SRP. Since they have no affiliation to CC corporate anymore people are not getting the same deal as before, look at the policy people. If anything shop there for the stuff thats normally never discounted like apple products or videogame systems.

Please tell you Im joking about what?
If you lack the ability to understand my words, then I don't know what to tell you, except there's no jesting here at all; I said there is NO deals in Redlands, Ca, and I stand by what I said.
Everything was more expensive, or the same exact price as before.
Consoles and games couldn't compete with any online websites prices.
And as for Apple, I don't care about Apple; they're one brand out of THOUSANDS.

The 30% off 1600 MS points is YMMV. I just came back from the Newport Beach, CA CC and the cashier told me they were full price since the cards act like gift cards.

I'm sure if I go to a different CC, I might be able to get one at 30%, but from my experience, it's YMMV.

Dropped by the local CC and found out that I wasted my time.

Everything was 10% off

They also went back and repriced a lot of stuff.

All the clearance items ( which previously had the price written with 16.xx in permanent marker ) was scribbled through and a full price label was placed on it.

Get this..

Wario Land: Shake It guide was labeled with a 24.99 sticker :applause:. The back of the guide had a MSRP of 19.99.. The game itself was marked 49.99 so I know it wasn't a mistake..

What a joke...

I can't believe that some people were buying stuff too...

Well I couldnt help myself and I got a guitar hero 3 bundle for ps3 at $38.70. They tried to charge me 60 plus tax and when i told them the sign said 39.99 the girl had to ask her manager and she told her to give it to me for 39.99 but no 10% off. I told her I could get it for 35 online and I wanted the 10% so she said screw it that she didnt care and gave me the 10%. I know target has the bundles for 24.98 but after looking for a month all I could find were aroesmith bundles. Ill probably regret it but oh well.

So I posted yesterday about how I thought all the xbox live cards sold at cc had made it onto ebay, which was causing a glut and thus depressing prices in the extreme (that post was mysteriously deleted, why mods why!!), well the update to that is I'm actually starting to think that it may be a ebay scammer who is low balling the prices. The closest CC to me, started right off the bat with a 30% off everything, I was looking to buy a 32" Toshiba Regza they had for $699.99.

I was not able to go Saturday and thinking not that many people will go, I went Sunday morning and the store was half empty, TV sets were virtually gone they only had a list of how many sets were left and none of them was the one I was looking for.

Circuit City in Leominster, MA will apparently be 50%-70% off in three weeks. They have around 20 copies each of Resistance 2, CoD:WAW (Both), GoW2, Saints Row 2 (Both) and Fallout 3 (PS3) on the shelf, with another 2-5 cases of each game out back. Presumably games will be 50% off as they're the 10% off now so that means $30 at most for all those. Anyone looking at any of those for themselves or to flip should keep there eyes on stock levels of those titles the next few weeks.

Your idea of cheap and my idea of cheap are WAYYYYYY different.

I even flinched and procrastinated when they had some lame case damaged, watermarked screen Sony Bravia for $175 here at a Kmart, even though I intended to return it to a different Kmart to get the current years model.

It was about a 26" tv too. Aside from the watermark(the cracked case I could live with), it was a nice tv. But the combination of display model and the watermark turned me right off it.

I only really want/need a 20 to 26" model, since I don't have the room or real need for a huge tv and my price range for an lcd(even without a store closing sale or clearance price)is $250 MAXIMUM price.

I refuse to pay over that for anything I use less than 20% of the time.

Some Circuit City's use the newer RPOS terminals, while most of the Circuit City's use the older version. My store uses the old version, so I can't really say anything about the stores with RPOS. These are kinda rare though; if they have touch screens at the registers, then they have the new RPOS system.

I can state for a fact that, as of today, all of the prices should be downloaded into all of the stores that still have the older version of the POS. We no longer have to do manual markdowns at these stores, unless the price is marked wrong or something.

All stores with the old system have video game accessories at 30% now, so even if it has signage that says 10%, just grab the item and take it up to the counter and ask them to ring it up. They don't have to do anything, it will just automatically ring up at the discounted price. My store still had them marked at 10% today until I pointed it out (not before grabbing some points card and telling some of the other employees about it).

I'm going to ride it out until the very end, so I will try my best to keep you guys updated on any price changes as soon as I know something. I haven't heard anything yet though, and neither have any of my managers. As for the guy that said 50-70% in a couple weeks...I really highly doubt that. My store still has a ton of stock left. I'd say it will be a while.

At my CC, they have both the old and new. I believe either the first or last register has a pen signature while all others have a digital. It is in use every now and then, but I assume that the newer ones are used more often than not.

What else out there has similar 10% discounts? I think I tried signing up for something at Best Buy, but not really sure how it works...

How so?
I heard that the two buyers who wanted to buyout Circuit City could not because no bank would give out a loan for that much? What BoA the one at fault?

My local CC is closing down as well, but right now there isn't many good deals at 10% off all items.

I've been looking into getting a laptop, and was waiting to see if I can score a really good deal from this CC liquidation. A store rep told me if I wait it out, laptops could go down as much as 30% or more.

Anyway, if someone catches wind of a laptop deal too good to ignore, please let me know about it.

I would believe its YMMV from here on out, if your store is 30%, another may still be at 10%.
The sale for the controllers was actually implemented as of Tuesday nation wide by the liquidators.

I swung by the South County (Saint Louis) CC tonight. The place was more crowded that I've ever seen it. The funny thing is that in the ten minutes I was there I heard two different people try to sign up for new CC credit cards, even though there were signs everywhere saying they won't even accept the cards anymore.

As far as deals go, I grabbed the last 60 gb 360 HDD for 30% off, but they didn't have the 120 at all. They did have a ton of official 360 controllers for $35 after discount, though (white ones only), so if anybody's looking for a cheapish controller there you go. The game selection seemed to be pretty decent but I didn't pay much attention to prices--I just wanted to get out of that hellhole. There were a bunch of 1600 point MS cards and I think some 3-month Live cards in a case behind the game checkout but the girl working there said they weren't discounted at all. She looked pregnant and harried so I didn't argue with her about it.

I went into the Rockville MD Circuit City. For the most part there was nothing worth a trip for. PS3, XBOX360, PC and DS games were 10 percent off of MSRP. DVDs were 20 percent off, nothing advertised for blurays. I didn't bother looking at their music selection.

They had xeroxed signs up everyonce in a while saying what percentage items were off, but they had more "All Sales are Final" than they had discount signs.

Over all I was in there for less than ten minutes. Maybe as it gets closer to march they might have some good deals but right now they don't.

90% of the CC's in Riverside, CA closed down during the last downsizing... everything is still just 10% over here (which takes care of taxes, and then some).

... does Circuity City stand a chance of being bought by another company before the liquidation ends?
Did they close down the one near Day St yet?

Only thing I could relate this to is Best Buy's Reward Zone program. You get 10% coupons in the mail about once a month and for like every $100 you spend in the store you get like a coupon for $5 sent to you in the mail that you can use on anything in the store. It's not a bad deal since its free to sign up.

Yeah I was there in the morning. For anyone thinging of heading out there, games are still marked up to MSRP and then 10% off, like every where else. There we're still a good amount of games, so I'm guessing they will be around still for a 20 or 30% reduction. In fact the store seemed to have lots of stuff in stock. Maybe people out here are smarter than I gave em credit for and can smell the liquidator's bullshit pricing. TVs are over priced with 10% off and gaming accesories are 30% off.

BTW, I saw the last xbox HDD and thought about buying it, but the dim lighting and odd layout of the store was making me ill so I bolted. You owe me some toasted ravioli or something. :)

Well, I don't give much credit to the average consumer when it comes to excellent deals. The only reason CC has not sold a lot of overpriced junk is because the economy is really sucking right now.

I will not even go to my local CC until I hear about atleast 50% off everything and then it is only to scope everything out on what I may or may not buy when it hits 70% off.

50% off MSRP = OK Deal
70% off MSRP = Very Good Deal
80% off MSRP = Excellent Deal
90% off MSRP = Steal

I would like a higher end Onkyo receiver (HDMI) but will not buy untill it hits atleast 70% off!

I haven't really read most of this thread, but Video game items in the CC in Brooklyn(Atlantic Center) is only 10% off. Sucks because I'm looking to pick up Scene it Box Smash and 30% off would of done it for me.

I was also looking for Points for the 360, but 10% off doesn't do it for me.

I have a feeling this may be somewhat demand driven. In other words, while they may be tentatively thinking 3 weeks, if people are still buying stuff at 10% off 3 weeks from now, they may delay the next drop another week. That's just my thinking.

I wound up going to the CC in Hagerstown, MD instead of Frederick. They had NOTHING. It looked like all the idiots scooped everything up at a measly 10% off. Plus, they had things marked WAY up. I saw Lost Season 3/4(can't remember which one) on Blu-ray for $99.99 before the 10% off! Anybody who buys that doesn't deserve to breathe air IMO.

The Hagerstown, MD store is also my local CC, and yes, about ALL of the laptop computers were gone, even with the price jacked back up to MSRP and then 10% off. The hilarious thing too is the "sale" signs are hanging right in front of the regular sale signs, all you have to do is lift it up and see the old price of at least a few hundred dollars cheaper. But they still had plenty of PSN cards left, I'm hoping they will count them as game accessories and they will stay until the price drops go further.

This may have been covered already, but I'll be damned if I can find it via search...but are they honoring any coupons at all? I got a set of coupons for CC from my Discover Card, for $30 off a $300 purchase...I don't think it excluded clearance merch or game systems. Hmm...

Circuit City (at least mine) doesn't carry much of anything decent when it comes to laptops. Best Buy's got WAY better stuff. I doubt CC will be able to match stuff like some of Best Buy's Asus models or that FX Gateway.

I had thought maybe they'd have an interesting netbook I could pick up as a PDA, but they didn't even have anything for that. (Just three models, none particularly good.)

Like others, I've been shocked by people rushing around, buying stuff that in a lot of cases costs more than it did LAST week, let alone at other stores.

I thought I read that they plan on closing for good by the end of March.

I think that's an estimate, and it's just basically whenever they sell out.

When I was there on Saturday for about two minutes, it was as busy as I'd seen it on Black Friday, which was borderline riot. Sounds like that hasn't changed much since Saturday.

I'm not surprised that people were trying to sign up for new CC cards, my guess is that they saw stuff they wanted/needed and couldn't afford it.

I know they didn't have any 120GB drives, as I was trying to find one and went to half the CC's in the area without any luck. The 60GB kit for 30% off isn't a bad deal, being $70 and that it comes with 3 months of Live, headset, etc. Shame the points cards aren't discounted, as that seems to be the big draw right now. They always keep the XBLM cards, Live cards, Wii points cards and PSN cards in locked cases behind the video game checkout register, so if it's not there, they don't have them.

I guess I can pass that one up for a little while and avoid the chaos.

I just stopped by the Gaithersburg, MD Circuit City and really didn't see anything worth buying. Games and Software were all 10% (I'm assuming assessories, were too.) Music and DVDs seemed to make the most sense at the time with 20% off. Thought about getting a couple Blu-ray movies, but I'm not really dying to own anything at this time that I can't wait to see if they reduce the price any more.

So, Gaithersburg, MD store, not all that impressed with the in-store items.

Decided to check my nearest Circuit City which is in saginaw, MI and they of course like the majority of other Circuit Citys had 10%-30%. Everything in the store was pretty neat and hardly picked though. Points cards were only 10% off and they had lots in stock. At least 20 1600 360 pt cards. The tv show dvds were kinda picked over but thats about it. Gonna wait to see how it looks next week.

I talked to a friend of mine who works at a Verizon Kiosk at the Boise, ID Circuit City. He said that This one will be bringing in stock from other stores to sell here so I believe that some will close before the end of March and just ship their remaining stock to one of their more busy Hubs. I have him updating me when ever they raise the % discount So I know when I want to actually even bother driving down there.

Side note I heard a funny store about a woman who was totally pissed because she bought a DVD player at 10% off and it was actually broken in the box but no returns. Made me laugh.

I just came back from the CC in Springfield PA. Still a lot of merchandise in the store (including games that were marked way up). Game points cards were not on sale. Game accessories were 30% of MSRP. I'll go back in a week or so to see if the prices have dropped any further.

Also I have never seen that many Guitar Hero World Tour (game and guitar) kits in my life. Those things will be around for a long time unless some Ebay/Craigslist vultures clean them out at the right price.

The CC on McKnight Rd. in Pittsburgh had 10% off everything, 20% off DVD/CDs and 30% off Video Game Accessories. Picked up a 1600 points card for 30% off since I was running low after the last B1G1 deal that went on. i'm guessing that would fly on PSN cards too. 30% off accessories (controllers, HDD, batteries, etc) isn't a bad deal.

Place hasn't been decimated yet, but there are huge signs up that you can see from t he highway and traffic there was much heavier than your standard weekday afternoon. This store gets alot of traffic so if you are looking for something and are ok with the discounts I listed you probably should get there soon.

Went to the one on Quince Orchard Road, Montgomery County Maryland. Store was almost picked clean, though discounts were only 10-30%. 10% for games, and none for point cards (why the 1600 point cards were out, I have no idea if they were still at the base price of 20).

Just got Kameo for 16.61, not that great a deal but Amazon has it new for around 15, plus shipping and handling would've been more. But then again the gas I spent getting there + wear and tear on the car from driving it probably wasn't worth it.
