I bit again this time (the core with Madden for 179). I will keep this one for sure.

I was sitting around lamenting my not having the HDMI output and 120GB hard drive when I saw this deal come up, so it was too good not to grab. Anybody know how much I might be able to get for my fully functional Premium bundle (with 20GB hard drive) after my Elite arrives?

But that list doesn't include the ones that are 360/PC exclusives, like Gears of War & Mass Effect (awesome) and such....
But the Xbox live and interface are much better than PS3 (until Home comes out at least, maybe even then). I own a PS3 and a 360.... I only use the PS3 to watch DVDs and play exclusives. Almost all games I play on the 360... the achievements are really a selling point.... it adds replay-ability to a lot of games.
...On my other point.
What's the best way to transfer everything from my old xbox to my new xbox? Do I NEED a transfer kit, or can I just plug in my gamertag and re-download everything?

First, you need to transfer your license:

On your new Xbox, once you're logged into your account it's really easy to just go into your download history and redownload everything. Of course, with saved games and other files and whatnot, you'd need a transfer kit.

Yeah $300 for an Elite is great. Having that included HDMI cable is really awesome as well as that big hard drive.

In my experience, the closer the present-exchanging day, the fewer the deals, hence the plight of the last-minute CAG. It's possible the flailing economy will generate more Dell coupon codes than usual, but I didn't have any luck with that last December. You?

Most people wait until an auction is coming to a close to bid. I'm sure he could still get a decent dime for a used Premium. He'd probably be better off trying to pawn it off on a CL buyer, though, simply so he can avoid shipping and getting hammered by fees.
EDIT: Looking at eBay, I do see that it is absolutely flooded with used 360s, especially from this one power seller. So, I would certainly say one should go to CL with their used systems.

Well, I'll let everyone now. I scored a new elite bundle with the new pack-in games for $296 shipped after the live.com deal. I think the pro I have now is a zephyr. My original 360 died with a RROD last year, and that was the replacement I bought while I waited. I think it's all a crap shoot anyway. If it keeps dying, eventually I'll get a "good" one :)
