I got my Logitech Z680's from Craigslist at an awesome price($40), and ordered my cables from Monoprice(great prices. Needed 16gauge cable for rear speakers, + adapters for wii audio). I want to kow how this will affect my gaming experience. What difference is there from regular stereo? This is my first surround sound "system".
Well considering it is just Dolby Surround and Wii games are not cinematic like, say, Halo, there is almost no benefit. At it's best, it will let you hear drivers coming from behind in games like Mario Kart. The normal is in games like Mario Galaxy, which just uses it for cute effect.

Eh. It'd probably be good for, say, Metroid.
Which, of course, gives blackbird here horrible motion sickness.

Yeah, it's ironic i actually finished the game with 75% by playing 1hr at a time. Boy, i suck. How would it help in something like Wario Land or De Blob.
