Damn dallow, what kind of smooth game did you spit to get them to change your order so seamlessly? When I tried to get them to add DJ Hero Renegade Edition for PS3, they added a whole fucking PS3 system to the order! What's worse, they put the system into shipping status so I couldn't cancel it online and had to call in again to get them to fix it. Only the second time I called, they canceled the whole order and I lost the 30% discount completely. :(

Individual rats, no. A lone rat is not smart enough to communicate, but you shouldn't worry about that, because a lone rat is not smart enough to put up much of a fight, either.

Since you said you were having a lot of trouble with the rats, I'll assume that you were close to the Many As One, the collective rat consciousness. Those are the rats that you really wanna talk to. There should be some wererats nearby that will bring you to the Many As One. You should really patch up the game, though, because that part can be kinda buggy.

Or you can skip it. Like I said, it is very possible to go through the whole game without ever killing a rat.

In fact, there are only three enemies in the game that you are required to "kill". One of them is a zombie, and the other two survive the fight. Everyone else can be run past/ignored/talked out of fighting. And you'll probably get a shitload of EXP for talking to them.

I very much recommend it. Torment is probably my favourite WRPG - no, fuck that, favourite RPG - ever. Just keep in mind that the game's combat system is not particularly well done, and you'll have to micromanage them a lot to keep things running well. And, again, don't worry about getting your ass kicked in a fight - that happens a lot early on. And, yeah, be prepared for a fuckton of reading.

Depending on which version of the game you have, you may or may not need to start with this patch (http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/Torment/index_misc.php).

Lucky for you, three of the most important fan-made fixes have been amalgamated into this (http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?autocom=downloads&showcat=83) fixpack. That one fixes a crapload of things, including some bugs relating to the Many As One. Other major changes are the fixes to Dak'kon's sword (it now changes in its strength as his morale improves/worsens, as it was originally meant to), allowing many enemies to run, and a crapload of typo fixes.

Arguably the second most important thing to install is the tweak pack (http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?autocom=downloads&showcat=84). There are a lot of thing included that you can turn on or leave off if you wish. At the very least, you'll want to install the Scale of Souls and Save Nordom. The Banter Accelorator is quite nice, too - if Black Isle wanted to shell out the money to get Homer Simpson, Pinky of "Pinky and the Brain", and Bastilla Shan in a room together, then you might as well hear them talk from time to time.

Moving on, there's unfinished business (http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?autocom=downloads&showcat=85). Restoring cut content seems to be a big thing when it comes to Chris Avellone games. There's a bunch of good stuff in there.

Finally, there's the UI mod (http://www.shsforums.net/index.php?autocom=downloads&showcat=87) for higher resolutions.

Er, no. The idea is that they broke the "Sin" cycle by killing Yunalesca. Tidus disappears because he is a "dream of the Fayth" and with Yunalesca gone they don't need to "dream" anymore. It's really rather dense.

Nathan Drake is probably the best part of the series. I played with the trophy patch and got everything except the trophy for running through on crushing (and thus the platinum too).

However, I got Uncharted for something obscene like $7 out of pocket. And then sold it for $25+. Paying me $18 to play through? Awesome. As far as part 2 goes, I just don't get all the hype.

RE5 wasn't perfect. I did enjoy it a good bit. Co-op was a great addition, at least for me as I love co-op games.

Single player wasn't great due to partner AI--I only played that on Easy just to get the experience of the graphics full screen since first play through was in local split screen so it wasn't very frustrating.

People buy Call of Duty games for the multiplayer. Some people don't even notice a single player section was included (though this time, with MW2, people will probably notice Spec Ops, at least).

Uncharted's reputation is that of a fantastic single player experience. This is like when GTA decided to add MP. Some people liked it -- hell it's still popular on Live (and PSN?) -- but most people probably bought the game based on previous GTA games -- for the single player sandbox gaming.

Yeah, it's absolutely one of the best games ever. Uncharted 2, that is.

That said there were a few moments of frustration/imperfection.

I got stuck in the water current/create a car bridge section in the water and had to load checkpoint, you just could not absolutely get out at all. The reliance on "boost your partner to drop a ladder to continue, but not until the guys are dead" is an imperfect way of cordoning off areas, and It kinda makes sense that the areas you can climb are highlighted, but it feels like I'm playing mirror's edge sometimes with these yellow pipes and pink ledges. It should just have "CLIMB HERE" written on it.

And sometimes drake doesn't want to climb where I want him to climb, but it's not very often. Overall a great game, but it does have some blemishes, like anything does. And the fact that the animation is so, so good 99% of the time makes that one time where drake is sliding down a wall with his legs spread seem that much more absurd.

I think my favorite part had to be when you're chasing after Lazarevic and Schafer. The whole jump from truck to truck while killing the soldiers and then landing in that last truck with the gattling gun was amazing. Best vehicle stage in a game EVER. The train stage leading up to the crash comes in a close second.

The story was boring, the characters were boring, even though they shouldn't have been. I didn't care at all about the whole "twist" the game had. Also the parts where you had to use the cover system were awful.

CoD4:MW/CoD:W@W did this and it drove me nuts. Good to know that the AI in Uncharted 2 is a plus. Challenging games don't need to fucking cheat to be challenging.

Yes! That is what ND was talking about with, "action stealth". But, everyone thought they were only referring to the Heist Scene (where it is stealth only). So people were bashing on the "stealth" element. But, it is not one part it is infused throughout the game and it is there to be used if you want to or not.

Amongst all the other reasons I previously cited as to why Uncharted 2 is great I've also noticed it has addressed one of my biggest pet peeves in gaming .. when the enemies focus on you and only you. In the one area Sully and I were side by side shooting and then I just pushed forward along the left side and the enemies on the right didn't see me do that cause their view was obstructed so they continued to shoot at Sully, completely unaware I was flanking them. I then managed to sneak attack them and knock em out. :whee:I noticed this as well, was very pleased they're not all knowing about where the hell I am.

I hope martyrdom in MW2 works like revenge in U2 (but it won't) in that it will only drop a grenade when you die if you had a live one on you.
My friend begged me to play a little MP with him before he went out of town so I gave it a shot. A few fun games and other than the first match on a new map, my K/D was slightly positive at least.

We did the co-op but failed at the very end though, we need a better third partner. It was nice though, I hope they add more mini co-op levels like that.

Finished Uncharted 2 yesterday, had a blast with it. I've played a ton of multiplayer in the last few days, and I suck ass so hard at it, but I still enjoy it a lot.

Now I'm rolling through single player with an infinite shotgun and as a skull face soldier. :)

You can buy unlocks after completing the game using the money you earned.

Naw, I'd say 360 updates take about 10 seconds, PS3... I've seen updates from as little as 16 megs to almost 800 megs. So about 20 seconds to 20 minutes maybe. :lol:

He's just screwing around in Normal mode, you can't use them on stages you haven't already beaten nor on a difficulty you haven't already beat it on.
