Just because the idea of a Were-hog is bad doesn't automatically make the game bad. If I tried I could probably think of a few games with bad ideas that ended up being good games.

Sonic wouldn't need to die if they didn't seem like they were just milking the franchise without a care to it's wellbeing. I would still hardly care the franchise ruined. In bad shape maybe , but not ruined.

The older bond movies with Sean Connery are classic. The ones with Roger Moore are alright but not quite as good (though I'm kinda partial to Moonraker). The 2 movies with Timothy Dalton are pretty bad compared to the rest of the bond movies , but aren't bad simply as action movies. The Brosnan movies (to me) are probably the second best line of bond movies behind the connary ones (and not counting the new ones).

I'd love to get in on the Amazon Bluray deal for them but I still as of yet don't have a PS3. But hopefully that will be changing soon. Don't want to pickup the DVD set if I may end up replacing them with the Blurays sooner or later.

If you only get one Tower Defense game on DS this season, make it Ninjatown.

The way I'm interpreting that is Assassin's Creed was supposed to be amazing and didn't deliver and that's how he feels about Mirror's Edge.

When I put it like that I can understand the train of thought. But for me, the difference between Mirror's Edge and Assassin's Creed is that ME didn't leave a very bad taste in my mouth. That and Assassin's Creed was pure shit any way...

most of the guys who make it are the programers and artists so it makes sense. smart indie dev teams are ones who have one main programmer and one main artists unless ur good at both. Castle Crashers is a good example of 2 guys doing 2 different things.

I finished Fallout 3 tonight! Overall an excellent game, my favorite of the year so far. That ending was was pretty unexpected and not very satisfying, but I loved the game overall. Will play it again to get the many quests and towns I missed. 55 hours when it was all done.

I hope there's good DLC somehow. REAL SPOILER FOLLOWS Especially considering they kill off your character in the end.. I was hoping the DLC would continue or fill out the story, but DLC is likely to just be new areas and such, now.

Yeah those community games are awesome. It's like Little Big Planet, except not a fake version of user content.. and they can actually sell their creations. And they don't cost $60 to get at!

Community Games > LBP. As far as user generated and creativity goes, anyway. LBP is a better platformer in general, but as a user generated tool, very limited and very elementary. I might pick up Weapon of Choice soon. That was really cool.

So me and my brother just finished co-op Gears (the first one) on hardcore. RAAM was a lot easier with two people than solo. However , he didn't end up unlocking the "Can't get enough of you Dom" achievement. Any idea why not?

The only thing I assume that would prevent it from unlocking would be not completing all the acts , which we have done. Is there any way to check and see if maybe one of the acts didn't register as being completed? Or is there something else that might be causing the problem?

Dynasty Warriors 2 on PS2. I got my PS2 for my birthday and with it like 4 or 5 Jampacked or Jumpacked or whatever name was on those damn demo discs. On one of them was DW2. I played the demo two or three times, then had my dad go and grab it for me. I had a blast with it. Nothing like riding elephants and horses and trampling dudes. And Dynasty Warriors on PSP was also really good to me. Probably my second favorite because of the amount of play time I got out of it.

I played so much LBP with the lady this weekend. Problem is she gets pissed at how the "difficulty" is at times. Like... she got so pissed it was unbelievable. Kameo, MUA, and F2 are really fun games. You should give them a go before you consider getting rid of them.

Just set up my town in AC:CF. The game is good so far, but there's one minor thing that startled me: when you donate fish to the museum, Blathers doesn't talk about how it can be prepared, how delicious it is, etc. Does he not like fish anymore?

So The Orange Box is available for like 17.99 used. I'm very tempted to use the cellphone coupon and an edge card to get 30% off. But I've already had TOB on 360, so I'm not sure if I can justify purchasing it again- on PS3. Granted, it'll drop down to like $12 and change, but I'm wondering if it's really going to feel "worth it". What do you guys think?
