Hey GGT. Been a good day so far: got most of my Christmas shopping done, and my Real Ghostbusters complete series set arrived!

Went to gamestop to get in on the B2G1 for once. Got Fallout 3, Fable 2 and SH:H. I then went to the gamestop in the mall a few miles away and found a copy of dead space (on PS3 not 360 sadly) so I tried to get the guy to switch them and he did it. So got F3, FO3, and DS. The gamestop had some blurays also so got golden compass, no country for old men and the dead space bluray for about $5, thanks to the 75% off plus edge card. :hot:

Picked up SFIIHDR also and it's downloading now. I found I had a copy of SF3:3rd strike for dreamcast so I played that last night and had a good time.

My Chrono Trigger is on the way from UPS right now so can't wait to play that also.

Yeah playing on a projector is a blast. That is my current setup atm. Only real downside is after 3000 hours the bulb takes a shit and that's 400 to replace. :bomb:

Really? That's quite interesting, actually. I didn't know that. And I agree that some DLC needs PERMANENT price cuts, especially for titles you can no longer get new.

I'm a glutton for punishment it seems...I rented Sonic Unleashed (360 version).

The Sonic levels (although being bad at them personally) are a bit of fun. There is one problem I have with them however, and that's the 2d parts. They need to pull the camera back a lot more or give indications of what is coming up because I died quite a few times on a jump in the 3rd Sonic stage because it was zoomed in too much and I didn't know what was coming.

As for the Werehog stages...um...yeah...For the first 9/10 of the first stage, it's okay. After that...it really gets bad.

Those madcatz 360 pads are a nice cheap alternative. They have a wii style 1 piece raised dpad. I used that for vf5 and umk3 and had no major problem.

I'm with you on this one, the Dual Shock d-pad is just sublime (as far as controllers go) for fighting games. The only pad I've ever owned that was superior is those Anniversary Guile Xbox controllers, and those won't work with the 360!! Anybody know of an Xbox --> USB adapter that will work?

It DID hurt my thumb, back when I got Tekken for PS1 and played that shit all the time. Now it never hurts.

ProTip : Use the base of your thumb and not the tip. Just set it on the PS Dpad and go to town.

Yes, the jailbreak part is one of the most memorable parts of any video game for me. As well as the part where you're on the airship and have to escape, and that other part where...yeah, you're right. There's so much great shit.

I played some SF2HD with a buddy who probably hadn't played the game since we got the original for the SNES when it came out. We decided to write a hentai manga called "Dhalsim and Chun-li Make a Porno."
