To counter the KZ2 hype , I've been playing a bunch of Halo 3. :lol:8-)

Finally got all the meta-game achievements. It was actually pretty fun playing through the levels again for those. Especially beating Tsavo Highway in about 13 minutes. Now the only achievements I'm missing are beat the campaign in legendary and most of the multiplayer based ones.

I've NEVER used Cammy. As I stated multiple times, I was playing SNK games when most people were playing SF. I never got that deeply into the series.

Pretty sure the SE uses the clip in sanwas, not the screw in type.
Get the ones with the triangular tabs coming out the sides. Not the ones with the orange circular things on the bottom.

Most likely I will remove friendly fire if that's what the majority want. ;) Overall, it was the most successful CAG PSN Game night.

-Finished the chapter of Dead Space with the Leviathian boss.
-Got the time machine in Chrono Trigger.
-Decided to finally get the true ending in Dead Rising. The one time I played all the way to the end of overtime, I got frustrated with Brock and decided to go on having fun and getting cheesements instead. So I just went through the storyline proper and, when I wake up, will finish overtime.

A bit late to the party, but I finally bit on Braid now that it's temporarily $10. Played it all the way through to completion in just 2 days and I have to say, the last world and epilogue blew my mind. The entire game is a giant mindfuck. End to beginning.

I was tired of my dumbass teaming shooting me in the face when no enemies were around when I was disarming bombs, so I switched to Assault class and just let loose on my team with grenade launchers. That'll learn 'em.

I was just watching the Area5 review of it and I thought they were going to break down in tears. Those dudes had a deeply emotional experience with the game. It didn't work for me on that level, I guess.

I read on IGN, that the dvd/blu release will have an three hour, ten minute director's cut. The "ultimate" cut of the movie Snyder revealed that "ultimate" version of the film is three hours and thirty minutes.

I was actually thinking about this this morning, when I went and picked up my two free movie tickets with purchase of an $8 1 month XBL card. The graphic novel has very little action itself, its more about the lives of vigilantes.

I only read the graphic novel in december and I already want to go back and read it again just thinking about it. I would like to read some more of Frank Miller's stuff, but I'm mostly a superhero person and He doesn't do too much of that. Ideas?

I decided to give it a shot since the reviews have basically said that the story's not that good, but the gameplay is excellent and has a lotta opportunity for exploration. I like Dragon Quest 5, it has whimsy. Those remakes are JRPGs done right. Lighthearted, charming, and not trying to be deep and philosophical, and thus not failing miserably at it. Because they ALL. DO.

So...I decided to pick up Lost Odyssey again (Beating Disc 2 is the final part of my March backlog, you know) and I'm at this House where these books are one shotting most of my guys.

Now, what am I supposed to do here? I'm guessing my guys are seriously underpowered since they're leveling up like crazy (except for one, which I can't seem to level up no matter how I get him in there) so I have to level grind a bit. I started at like...level 20-21, and I'm at 24-25 now. I don't get it. It's annoying to have books kill you in one hit every turn.

Also, I hope the Weekly Honors Stuff changes from week to week in Killzone 2, or else it's a real dick move against Trophy Whores.

Ive put about 10 hours into SO4, so I feel I can give an INFORMED- not gametrailers-trailer-watching opinion.

First off the battle system is awesome, its so good, and better then the other SO games, IIRC.

Secondly the voice acting and the way the voices match the characters are terrible. There is a girl in your party who is one of the worst JRPG characters ever, but lets not detract.

The music is fitting, and rightfully epic at times, and fits.

Overall I would say its better then anything else SE has put out on the system so far, and probably the third best RPG on the system.

I beat KZ2 last night dallowmang. I enjoyed it despite the aiming / stick acceleration problems. One thing is for sure, it sets the benchmark for "next-gen" graphics. I've never seen a video game look that good before. Even cloth (flags, burlap covers on boxes) was animated beautifully.

I know exactly where you heard that line. I was crossing a platform over to where those guys were standing and I didn't see that part of it was missing and I fell down on to the pipes below. The thing is though that there's no way back up from there and they're too high up to fall to the ground. So I had to kill myself and start that section over.

Well, I ordered PS3 replacement #2 today. I should be getting a refund from seller of #1 by tomorrow. Seller #2 was cheaper, located in the US(instead of Canada) and said that he only carries "brown" clips, when seller #1 sent me a "white"clip, when they pictured a brown clip in their auction. They're so cheap, would it really hurt that bad if you ended up not liking them?
I get pissed when I get food I don't like, or a drink is mixed badly moreso than a cheap game as it usually costs me more, and it's something that I can't give a second chance.
They should have demos though.

Noby Noby Boy and Flower. Yes, I'm aware people are going to say "They're awesome! Buy them!", but I don't really trust other people's opinions. I mean look at Braid. I hated that game, and almost everyone here liked it.

Nobo Noby Boy is alright. I've played it for about 20 minutes, and I didn't know what the fuck to do. I just had fun eating people and pooping them out. Gamesharing helped me make the decision to buy it in the first place.

I've never liked a KoF game. But I like the fact it's all hand drawn -- it still has a CG-ish quality to it... in sorts, it's what I wish SF4 had done in the art department.

No. The "point" is there is no point, other than fuckin' around. You can make your own goal, or do the trophy-esque stuff. I guess the real point is to just mess around but to "report" to girl so the community can unlock new planets/levels to play with.

So I just played Noby Noby Boy for about half an hour. Shit's weird. Very weird. But... very entertaining. I feel like I'm missing something though...

I'm pretty sure I'm getting near the end of the campaign though which makes me sad.

I hate how they made Akuma & Gouken so god-damned hard to unlock. I hate it even more that no matter WHAT difficulty the game is on, Seth will always be an uber cheapass.

I'll probably unlock Akuma soon enough, but Gouken? That's a sheer crapshoot.

It's easy really. Have you tried easiest mode, one round, with 30 seconds? With Seth all you have to do is turtle and punish mistakes.

I've done easiest with 1 round, gone like 4 perfects in a row and still get beat by him. Not crushed mind you, but he's been able to cheap his way to victory.

Care to elaborate on "turtling"? I kinda suck at fighting games.

Turtling Seth pretty much means to be just block, be patient, don't go offensive, and wait for him to attack and if you see an opening take it. After that just repeat. It's not really exciting, but it's pretty effective.

Edit: What I find effective is to build a small lead and turtle. Then either win that way or wait for the 30 seconds to run out.

finally got Akuma. I almost shat myself when I squeaked out a time victory against Seth. Thanks for tip Suko, I realized that most of Seth's attacks can be blocked and countered pretty easy, but the bastard caught me with a string Super Shyouken's out of nowhere and the 30 second timer almost came back and bit me in the ass.

EDIT: And I now just realized that there's an even easier setting than easier. Fuck it, I'm dropping to easiest.

EDIT: And now I have everyone unlocked. :)

Man, that last mission I played in Killzone 2 was crazy hard. Up until that Mission (playing on the 2nd difficulty level, not the easiest one) I had 17 deaths. In that Mission alone, I had 17 deaths.

I definitely see myself playing more KZ2 multiplayer tonight, though. It seems sort of easy to get a General Ranking. You gain about 100 points for every hour you play, so getting the General Rank should only take about 25-35 hours of gameplay. Which is good considering you unlock the final class at General.

Yup. First time I tried to unlock Akuma, I did too many ultra finishes and ended up fighting gouken, who didn't unlock when I beat him because akuma wasn't unlocked. :bomb:

I'm pretty sure I'm getting near the end of the campaign though which makes me sad.I'm enjoying the game too. Yesterdays CAG night was crazy since we had 32 fill up the room most of the night. Unforuntately, since I felt it would start off slower and then be filled at the end, I put smaller maps first and larger maps later. On Thursday I'll probably switch it around. I'm considering on Thursday dividing the game up into two rooms, since I'm expecting a larger turnout. I was hoping for CheapyD and Wombat to show up, but we did have former 1UP Staff Nick Suttner show up as "rocksolidaudio".

I'm planning to promote a few in the clan as an officer. I decided on a few, but not everyone yet.
