I hope that "leaked" picture of PSP Go is a fake. The analog stick is over way too far to the right. It looks like it would be impossible to hold the device without it being unstable in the hands. And overall, as far as technology goes, it just seems like a step back. You'd think the PSP would've started with a pull down control panel and in the next iteration they managed to fit all the buttons on the face.

I have a lot of hopes for the new PSP though if the rumors are true that the online store is going to be a rental service. That's the way to make digital distribution work in my opinion. Buying the rights to purchased items bothers me because I'll never be able to keep it forever. So the logical thing to do is just have digital rentals ... at REASONABLE prices that are reflective of a rental.

I really like Infamous, but I hate Cole's voice. It was annoying but ok with Batman because I could kind of justify it by saying he was disguising his voice. This was kind of proven because he didn't use that voice as Bruce Wayne, but Cole just sounds ridiculous. That's apparently how he naturally talks? I agree a $149 price point would most likely be the best idea if not a little cheaper. But, as you said, it's Sony, and I wouldn't put it past them to price it higher than $199.

That sucks, It's never happened to me but I know the feeling. Back on the PS2 I picked up Steambot Chronicles on the PS2 and played for a while and then I died. After I loaded my save I realized the last time I saved was about 4-5 before. Needless to say I wasn't happy about it and I haven't touched the game since...

Also I've actually wanted to upgrade my PSP phat for a while now. But I keep holding off after hearing rumors of new PSPs...

In the Qore episode the guy spoke about LittleBigPlanet, Gran Turismo, Jak and Daxter, and a new Metal Gear Solid game. Also Motorstorm Artic Edge, Dissidia Final Fantasy, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe (everything from the original, everything from the Encore expansion, and also new levels, enemies, and towers), Soulcalibur Broken Destiny, Tekken 6, Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron, and Assassin's Creed.

Also there's going to be a ton of PS1 classics coming. Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil 1-3, Marvel vs. Capcom, etc. etc.

There's already a program that runs it perfectly on PSP if you're smart about how you use your PSP. ;)

The PSP Go is a pointless device. They needed to add a 2nd analog stick or a touch screen. End of story. And guaranteed it's going to cost more.

Also 2nd stick controls could totally be optional, as in you can still use the shit-tacular aiming with the buttons on old PSPs, but software would detect using a PSP Go and enable the 2nd analog in that case. It's really not that big an obstacle as people want it to be.

Also I bought a Game Boy Pocket from craigslist today for $10. And Medal of Honor Heroes 2 on Wii. That game is actually really fun. I like it.

Im sure the MS press conference is going to be awesome. Right now, MS has hardly a thing i actually give a damn about, but im sure a lot of others are excited for the new halo, alan wake, etc. I just have no hype for those at all. I hope there is a bunch of surprises and stuff geared towards my likes like a KI3 or at least KI1 on XBLA with online.

One thing i keep in mind tho, is about 1-2 months ago, one of the sony execs said in a interview that MS just purchases instead of innovates and he sounded pretty heated. Im assuming MS paid big money at that point for something and it will be revealed at E3. Cannot wait!

Even though I didn't play the first or even want to play it, Mirrors Edge 2 needs a sequel. It was headed in a very good direction, but the execution didn't turn out as good. A second chance is all it needs to shine IMHO.

I've just been on a GBA kick lately. I missed so much during that time I lost my interest in games and really only bought a few titles when I got my Japanese GBA in highschool. Missed a lot of mid-late PS2 era as well.
Ahh. Some nice choices then. I have the AW games, Astro Boy, and Klonoa 2 and they're pretty good games. You should also check out Boktai, Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure if you're into DB and beat-'em-ups, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and Super Monkey Ball Jr. if you can find them.

I wanted to get WW Twisted when it first came out but never got around to it.

Very, very small amount of the Dead Space team is working on Dante's Inferno. Dead Space 2 has been in production for a while. Sequels to Dead Space and Mirrors Edge were both confirmed a while back.

Morning Mak, watched Merlins Mystical shop of Wonders last night, another good ep, some classic riffing, my favorite bit is the mean psychic basically calling the dude a moron. Another classic riff was the "remember believe in magic, or I'll kill you"

Games wise I played Shrek the Third for the nerd points, it's god-awful, even by crappy movie tie-in standards. Balanced that out with co-oping some RE5, which is a fantastic game.

Crysis 2 just got announced by EA for everything that is constantly connected to the internet.

I have wanted to play Crysis for a while, but my PC just can't handle it. So I will definitely be getting that for 360.

New Wipeout HD DLC coming! Sounds cool.

PS3's downloadable antigrav racer, WipEout HD, is getting its first bit of DLC. Attendees at E3 will be able to try out "Fury," the first expansion pack for the game. Included in the upcoming pack are 8 new tracks, 13 new ships and 3 new game modes. A patch will also add new trophies, a "re-styled front-end" and improved multiplayer functionality.

One of the new modes being reintroduced to WipEout HD is the "Eliminator" mode, last seen in PSP's Pulse. This combat-centric mode gives favor to killing instead of racing. It's one of our favorite modes from WipEout Pulse, so we're glad to see it make a comeback.

In addition, the upcoming Fury DLC will also add "Zone Battle," a multiplayer twist on the classic "Zone" concept. In this new mode, players will be able to acquire zone pads and choose between a speed or health boost. Opponents will be able to drop zone barriers, a deadlier WipEout interpretation of Mario Kart's banana peel. Finally, the "Detonator" mode has players shooting at mines while trying to try through 14 different stages. We'll be giving you a full hands-on report on "Fury" later this week.

Even though I didn't play the first or even want to play it, Mirrors Edge 2 needs a sequel. It was headed in a very good direction, but the execution didn't turn out as good. A second chance is all it needs to shine IMHO.

What a Mirror's Edge 2 needs is a better story, better pace, MUCH better level design, more variety so it doesn't get old as fast, and the devs need to figure out why the hell there are guns in the game.

Crackdown was a blast. Considering how cheap it is, you should've just picked it up and played it when you got a 360. It takes a bit to get going, but once you do, it's a blast.
