My personal opinion is that IF the GGT threads had to go and use social groups, then I feel the OTT, Anime thread, Wrestling thread, and so on should go also (then there should be zero general threads about anything) and use the CAG Chat (http://www.userplane.com/directory/index.cfm?action=domain.viewDomain&domainID=149755#) which was discussed in an OTT before about this a few months ago (how some were wanting to rid the OTT and use the CAG Chat instead). But, I understand I have zero influence on the decision, I just remember hearing that before. Personally, I don't care because I'd love all the threads to stay, as long as everyone is good and not causing harm to anyone.

Going back to gaming, I played a little Warhawk and helped out one of my friends get trophies.

As for games coming out this week, I want SOCOM the most, but I'm probably going to wait on it for a few weeks (to see how much $$$ I have left over). I'll admit I had little interests in Dead Space, but after seeing more, I really want the game now, but still not a top 10 most wanted game for me. I thought about getting it during the TRU sale this week, but I feel I'm best sticking to the top 10 games I want most (so I'll be skipping the sale).

Once you get credited, there really isn't a way to lose the credits. Short of violating the ToS, you should be okay. Have fun with the program. It sucks once there are no more "good" offers. Gamefly and Blockbuster Online/Netflix was great.

Yeah I preordered all the games I'm getting this month and next from amazon. Having Prime just help seals the deal with the price reductions, $10 gc, and same day delivery for most.

I dunno about Dead Space, I've heard people say it's a good survival horror game. Yes, a survival horror game. Though I'm still iffy on it myself since it doesn't look like it'd be much fun in all honesty. I don't buy into the strategic dismemberment. Any game that touts that usually ends up being a "Shoot him in the fucking face and you'll be fine" type of game.

I put a good half hour into SCIV tonight. I'm going to master Darth Vader. He's got some really cool moves, I just need to train with him more to get some fluidity down. I really can't wait to unlock Starkiller, he's a cool character, just a shame his game pissed me off so badly.

You probably have your own system for fighters, but I usually pick 3 to 7 combos to memorize and just work those.

If you're talking about personally, it's just a matter of breaking yourself of the habit. Like I said above, just pick some combos and drill them in to your head so those become the buttons you mash as opposed every button on the controller. And if I misread what you meant, sorry :lol:

Kind of. I do have those combos drilled into my head.

My other problem is I haven't learned openings well yet. Like, I"ll go in for something, get blocked, and then get rocked with a huge combo. Fucking cpu hates me.

Basically you have to cut it into so many pieces that it can no longer do any harm. Or you have to actually kill the parasite. But just cutting them up is much easier.

Raphael on the hardest setting. I was fine when I played right, but I kept reverting to my kof/tekken mash buttons to find combos and then abuse them since you don't know how to play.

Just started working on Halo 3 on Heroic. It's amazing how much of a difficulty difference it is in the third game , considering that in the first 2 games it was not that noticeable until you turned it up to legendary. Also managed to get a bunch more achievements from some live arcade games. Got my gamerscore above 3000.:)

I certainly have a lot of games to buy the rest of the year, which is why I'm holding off on the TRU sale.

My current play is:
-Preorder LBP and Eternal Sonata (PS3), which I'll be able to use GS credit to pay it.
-Pick up Rock Band 2 (PS3) and Star Ocean: First Departure (PSP) during a Meijer sale
-Preorder Valkyria Chronicles and maybe Resistance 2. Hopefully have enough credit to pay for one.
-Pick up the games Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, SingStar Volume 2, and MotorStorm: Pacific Rift during sales or I might preorder one of them.

If I can buy them all great, if not, they will be Christmas presents. I also really want to pick up the following games, but have to wait to buy everything else before I buy them:
-SOCOM: Confrontation (probably without headset)
-Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

There are plenty of Youtube vids of World of Goo, most of the levels in the first chapter I think, gives you a good idea of how it works.

There are plenty of Youtube vids of World of Goo, most of the levels in the first chapter I think, gives you a good idea of how it works.I'm a big Bomberman fan, which is why I'll buy it, but I still need Wii points. Just haven't gotten round to it. Although I'm more so looking to buy Bomberman on PSN mostly because I have tons of friends to play with already. As big of a Secret of Mana fan I am, not sure yet if I will get it on VC (for some reason, my love for classical gaming just isn't there right now).

Yeah, same here. Starting last christmas, a group of my friends did gifting via the vritual console, so I know I have to have 1000 points left for that, so I'm really only stuck with 5000 points. Sunday I spent 1500 getting Megaman 9 and Super Dodgeball, but I'm in no hurry to grab stuff up right away. It's not like it's going to be taken down or only up for a limited time anyway.

Edit: Oh my goodness how I wish Nintendo would put Aero Fighters for the SNES on the virtual console. I love that game so much, but I really don't want to pay $130 for a cart only copy.

Technician came out today finally, and basically it boils down to Bellsouth has the network in "maintenance mode" so they won't troubleshoot jack shit until the network's up, and until that happens, my PS3's going to be NAT 3. When it does come back up, we're resetting everything and starting fresh network wise.

Also found out that hosting a gaming server (Essentially what PS3/360 are) on a residential service is against their contract, and if they try to help me, it's basically a bonus for me. It makes me wonder why they don't have gamer-specific services. They have residential and business, but not gaming. Gaming's pretty big now, and I'm sure a lot of people would pay to have gaming specific internet plans.

Played some more Kirby Super Star Ultra before crashing last night. Finished Meta Knightmare Ultra, which was pretty lame as it was just playing through most of the earlier modes with a more powerful character when they were already super easy with Kirby.

Just need to get through the Arena to unlock a couple more games, then finish those off and I'll be done with it and on to Sonic Rush.

Little Big Planet is going to be one of those games everyone LOVES for like a half a week, then realizes all the levels are either too gimmicky or feel the same and realize just how shallow the game is.

I'm at the last boss of the first Onimusha game. Really surprised how good it was, especially for $4.

Still grinding at DQ4 too. Great game.

If you like Sonic Rush, I'd recommend picking up Sonic Rush Adventure as well. Good, quality sonic game.

Odd, as other's have posted that Sonic Rush is good but to stay away from Sonic Rush Adventure. I've never been much of a Sonic fan, so I'll probably just stick with Rush.

Rush Adventure isn't as good, but it's basically the same style of game, but with a clunky overworld added and some decently fun minigames.

Stuck in class right now. Bored out of my mind. Stupid lectures. I already know enough C++ to get me through the semester with a pretty good grade, but I gotta attend a good portion of them to pass. I got 3 games from the B2G1 sale and I wanna start on them!

EDIT: Uh oh. Sly Cooper 1 is being sent to me now. I'm being overwhelmed with games! How do you guys do it? With school, work, and friends, I have almost no time for them!
