According to 1UP.com:
A Viewtiful Joe animated TV series is on its way to Japanese airwaves, TV Tokyo recently announced. The network will begin airing the Capcom-produced show based on its new "VFX Action" side-scroller in October, just before the release of Viewtiful Joe 2 for PlayStation 2 and GameCube, with a run of 52 episodes in mind.

The gameplay was awesome, but there really was no story there. I hope they make it good.

I don't see how they could get 52 episodes out of the paper thin plot the game has. Probably will end up like Final Fantasy unlimited and get canned halfway through.

It'll probabaly never come over here. It'll be interesting to here what its like though.
Viewtiful Joe was a great game. I hope this does well and someday we receive it over here. Maybe Fox or Cartoon Network??

Couldn't agree more. I hope One Piece isn't totally slaughtered when they *sigh* bring it to FoxBox later this year. I was really hoping for an Adult Swim release. Damn those corporate bastards of corporateness!

Lets hope that if it comes here that the voice actor for Joe won't be the same guy that did the VJ radio spots promoting the PS2 release.

It could be really interesting if its pulled off right.. But 52 episodes? Where are they going to get the ideas for that many?

Which brings a horrible thought to my mind: thousands of 9 year old kids repeating that OVER AND OVER. Think 'I'm Rick James' for kids.
