unfortunately, pretty sure it won't, as the stick doesn't register under the game controllers in controll panel. Well, it registers as being plugged in, but there are no inputs when I hit any buttons or use the stick. ARGH Thanks though!

After playing even more Championship Mode tonight, I have come to this conclusion. If your disconnect ratio is more than 1%, your icon should be permanently changed to a Vagina. Also it should automatically download a patch where every time you disconnect, the SFIV disc flys out of the disc tray into your face.

Had a dude with a 4% disconnect ratio play me tonight. Seth Vs. Blanka and he obviously disconnected halfway through Round 2.

The DJ Max Fever bundle is not only obscenely expensive, but also incredibly niche in scope. BlazBlue, on the other hand, is piggybacking off of the huge commercial success that was Street Fighter IV.

I'm not really butthurt over your observations because I misunderstood them. Your inital post in that thread made it seem like people were crazy to be discussing an artbook so much. Being one such person who was very excited about said artbook, I defended myself, naturally. Don't see what's so hard about that.

SVGL has it. It's in Japanese Viewlix cabs with Sanwa Sticks/Buttons (720p as well!). Game gets pretty packed on weekends.

Even more so now that I heard that SJSU doesn't have their Blazblue cab anymore.

So I went to University Pinball to play BlazBlue today. Guess what they didn't have?? Blazblue

Guess what they did have? King of Fighters XII!!!! It's awesome, the new critical counter system is very cool. The gameplay is pretty slow as well, I really feel like some of the people that weren't feelin 2003 or XI would definitely get down with it. Graphics are sickkkkkkk. Crazy combos are possible using the critical counters. If anyone has questions post up I'll do my best to answer them.

That's partly due to my experience with arcade sticks (read: none), though. I don't like how the ball handle spins, though. It feels like it could unscrew at any moment. Also, the buttons are super-sensitive.

I'll be able to tell if it's a deal-breaker or not once I actually break it in, though.

Ball handle shouldn't spin. You may need to open up your stick and tighten it. What stick did you get?

lol, KoF looks good but the animation is standard. i was a little let-down because of the amount of potential it had (graphically), but I do like the gameplay although it doesn't really play like KoF. some of the sprites are SICK too, such as Ralf and Clark.

there are only a few stages but the one that is in like Mexico or Egypt is AWESOME.

to be honest, it kind of feels like a "test" game. they wanted to mess around with HD sprites and backgrounds and revamp the gameplay, and they kind of threw things together so they could make money off of it. so far i've really liked it, but now I really can't wait for KoFXIII because I know that will be even more badass

The SFEX series wasn't even that bad... I mean obviously it wasn't as good as any of the main games... SF2 3 or 4... but still it was fun. The Arika characters were mad cool too yo'z. D. Darko. Well I'm getting a a bit better with the stick. When I first tried I could even do SRK's or c.mk -> fireball. My PS3 stick should come in near the end of this week so take that time to train Beef! Right now all I have is my 360 TE stick that I just modded. When I have access to my good camera I'll take pics of it.

as for the Max Impact series... it was fun but always felt like it was fun because it was so broken. Half the animations feel like they have no recover time and are super clunky. It's basically a match of who can spam easy as hell combos more than the other person. very fun :lol:

I still have my copy of KoF 2006 (ie. Max Impact 2) not because I play it... I just can't find some place or person that would want it :lol:

I rarely ever use female characters in fighters so the lack of the X chromosome doesn't bother me personally. With that said they haven't announced all the console exclusive characters yet. I'm sure there'll be a couple more pairs of boobs for you guys to goggle at. I say just add Mai so it can shut you guys up :D

I have the opposite problem-- guys never play the way I like (speed, agility.) And when they do, they always look so femmy that I may as well pick the chicks. well, I guess most japanese designed dudes look a little femmy, even if it's just the hyper-stylized hair.

Tekken 4 - Jin, King

Tekken 5.0 - Steve, King, Jack-5, Eddy, Ganryu

I've been waiting to see the next generation of 2D games for what seems like forever. I commend SNK for taking a step in the right direction. I realize this 2D look isn't for everyone, but seriously would you rather want another 3D KOF?

Historically, I don't remember there being multiple versions of the same Tekken on a console, unlike many other fighting game series.

true, I think I was just thinking about Tekken 5 and Dark Resurrection... then again that was on two different systems. Of course you couldn't really update a PS2 game... this time around, I doubt they'd put the most current version on a portable system and leave the 360 in the dust.

i always called them quarter-circle characters, throw characters and charge characters.

also, KoFXII does look really pretty just the animation isn't that great. SF3 has better animation, although just purely aesthetically KoFXII looks much, much better. It looks about as good as STHD, with similar animation.
